When I get back to Blighty I have to get myself a 2nd hand car pretty quickly (11/07). I have about three days to find one in Bristol so I'm keeping an eye on Autotrader now.

I appreciate that a convertible isn't the best option in the Outer Hebrides, but the price (under £3K), age and mileage seem pretty reasonable.

As I won't be able to use any dealer's warranty I'll haggle the price down a bit on that, and I hope to take a friendly mechanic along to view, but does anyone have any thoughts/advice on this one?
