Well that was at least two of us laughing then, Nabby. Gillian passing out is the best thing that could happen to the show though really (as long as she is actually OK), and the shows producers will be secretly smiling too, because it now means they can get shot of somebody who was ruining the whole idea of the show.

I wonder what they will do with her. they should kick her out on medical grounds, whether it's for real or not. As you say Jonathan - she's sort of ruining the show now.

It's the public voting for her every day that's ruining the show. I've always thought they shouldn't include the person who did it the previous day, nearly every series the voters single out one person day after day and it does get boring, and others go home without doing a proper trial at all.

She should probably walk for the benefit of the other contestants, I mean she knows she's going to get voted in every day until the evictions start and will get hardly any food for the rest of them.

I'm guessing if she walks she loses the money - else surely she would have done it by now. I think the public will stop voting for her now. Watching her pathetic attempts is one thing but today she refused point blank in the first trial and then got kicked out the 2nd one. Time for a new target...I'm predicting Havers, who is losing even more cred that Gillian at the moment.
The other thing that confuses me is how, every now and then, they say ' old fart x' is immune from this trial on medical grounds' and yet they are happy to watch Gillian look like she's going to have a heart attack every time she gets voted in.

Linford was ace at the trial, especially when he took the piss out of her by fainting

bin the stupid bird out for eff sake...

also for a nutritionist she looks awful, and she's a vegetarian? how does that work?

Havers gone then but why haven't they chucked Gillian out?

Got to feel sorry for the show crew, spending weeks planning and setting everything up and she can't be ar$ed doing it or is so feeble she only does the first 25% of it.

She is beyond a joke but I'm glad she keeps getting voted for. Can't be letting her off can we! Get her on speed dial now!

The has been ex celebs who sign up for this should be forced to see it through.
If they have to do a challenge they don't like then they should be made to do something much much worse or go without food and water for 2 days.
They are only doing the show to give their failed careers a boost and as no one cares whether they succeed or not they need to see the series through.

I wouldn't be that surprised to find out that Max Clifford has signed her up after the 'show' :?:

If he can make a fortune for a half-witted 'orrible minger like Jade Goody? Her last perfume creation was her best:

She really is horrible - and we are going to get the benefit of a Dom Joly commentary on her next trial! :D

It is surprising me that Linford is constantly in the bottom two, and also surprised that last night Joly was second last considering he is the only one openly taking the p*ss out of Gillian. Would have thought he would have gone down well with the viewing public.

Gillian did of course cheat on the Kangaroo Court trial, but she has some kind of point when one of the behind-the-camera team was actually standing there holding her up so she didn't fall off the edge.

Liked the way at how quickly Kayla whipped her top off as the cockroaches climbed. My wife said "she has had good practice"

Some people also vote for people they like to do the trials so they can see more of them.

The thought of Joly seeing her trials first hand and commentating, 'encouraging' and later reporting back to the team is quite an amusing prospect

Linford came across as a bit sexist when he had a go at Kayla for being a playboy model the other day and Joly can sometimes appear a bit arrogant and aggressive (although Gillian deserves it), hence that's why they got voted 2nd and 3rd IMO.

The rest of the camp are either entertaining but have already done a trial (Sean, Stacy, Lembit) or have just been quite anonymous and done nothing to warrant any votes yet for any reason. (Nigel would probably have been in the bottom 3 if he hadn't walked)

At this stage, people are voting for they want to see in a trial, rather than their "least favourite person", so anyone who has been especially noticeable gets voted for. Doesn't mean they are not liked, it's just they have been noticed.

For the same reason, once the voting switches to "who do you want to stay", it'll be the less prominent people who will be first out (e.g. Britt, Aggro or Mrs Gascoigne?), rather than Linford, Dom or even (sadly) that God-awful woman.

the Linford 'Men rule the world comment' immediately resulted in half the population voting for him everyday - the other half (i.e. the blokes) all vote for Gillian because it's funny.

The funny thing is Dom J is giving it the bigun at the moment but if I remember rightly he was pathetic when he did the opening trial in the shack with Jenny Eclair. Should be good fun tonight (assuning Shaun hasn't knocked Gillian out by then).

Yes, of course its a truism that people who are voted to be in a trial are voted for because the public want to see them in a trial! But I also think there is a connection between being not liked and being voted for a trial as it is seen as a kind of punishment for any slight misdemeanors handed out by the judge and jury that is the voting public.

A mistake by the producers IMO and yet another example of a reality TV show that supposedly gives viewers the right to decide, but then changing the rules when things don't start going the way the producers would like.

If viewers really are getting fed up with Gillian refusing to do the trials then surely they'll just stop voting for her? But she still gets voted for every day so presumably viewers are happy to see her refuse, pretend to faint etc which results in no food for the camp and tensions buidling between her and the other campers.

It's the producers who are making a mockery of the show by changing the rules, not Gillian.

Spot on Johnf, a big error that I would hope leads to a huge reduction in votes/money for the show

My bet last week on Sheryl to be the first one to be voted out is now looking good. :D The only one I was afraid of was Lembit, but he is now immune so the vote is between,

Gillian :D
Sheryll
Shaun :D
Dom :)
Stacey :D
