Look again - you'll find Ikts included it in GW18,as their cut-off the previous week was on Wednesday 21 Dec,whereas FPL included it in GW17

I think you just have to enter your predictions and Ikts will slot them into their GW's. Problems will arise if people find themselves with more than one banker in a GW as a result of the lack of synchronisation between Ikts and FPL.

GW20 update:



With 13 matches this week, it had the potential to be a very high (or low) scoring week. But it was neither, with no-one breaking 3 figures positively or negatively. Amcal59 takes the honours with 95, and there is now just 5pts covering the top 3. At the other end, medaz declines the use of his banker or insurance chips, and ends up on -70.

With all the bad weeks we've been having recently, I had a look back through the previous scores. I'm on exactly the same number of points as I was after GW16! Some people have actually managed to lose points over the last 4 weeks, so if you're beating your GW16 score, you're probably doing quite well.

I was also missing one of my chips. I have, since forever, used both on the same line but last week only one showed up. I wonder if it happened to anyone else...?

I noticed last night that they had Chelsea down as a x3 and Arsenal as a x2 so I thought I'd take advantage of that and put the banker on Chelsea. They have since corrected it, but it was probably a blessing in disguise as I might well have been tempted by Liverpool on the x3 instead.

GW21 update:

Slightly better this week, with a few people breaking into 3 figures and fewer negative scores. Best was hookingshanker with 155, while Ian Catton could only manage -30.

For the first time this season I had a look at the overall leaderboard and also where our own leader, amcal59 is. I have to say that we appear to be a bit rubbish at this. Amcal is a whacking 500pts off first place and so the rest of us have got even less to be happy about.

Is it because

1. It's a bit of a niche game and so the standard of the field is so much better than, say, FPL.

2. The volatility of the scoring system where 1 goal can represent a massive swing between positive and negative scores means it's basically a lottery.

3. We are actually crap!

4. Something else (please post your theories).

I think it's maybe a bit of 1 and 2.

Don't forget 500pts may sound a lot, but in reality it's quite possible to score 150-200 in one week, a correct 3x alone is worth 90pts. My point is our leader is maybe 2 or 3 good weeks off the overall lead, whereas in the overall FPL game the FISO league leader is maybe 70-100pts off the overall lead which is one very good week, or a comfortable 2 weeks. So yes, we're maybe not as competitive in ITKS as FPL but it's probably not as bad as it first looks either.

In addition to the fact the volatility of weekly scores is much higher, it's also more of a side game for most people, and I personally think correct score betting has a tendency to bring out more emotional biases. I'm fairly sure if someone just blindly put predictions of 1-0 to the home side every game every single week they'd be doing much better than average, as I think this game lends itself to following statistical probabilities much more than FPL.

GW22 update:



A bit of a mixed bag this week with a spread of positive and negative scores. Well done to geoffv for getting 3 correct including his banker for a 120. And a warm welcome to newcomer woodfud who unfortunately goes straight to the bottom of the class with a "perfect" -110 (-120 is possible but only if you forget to play the insurance).

A pretty good week for most of us with way more positive than negative scores for a change. Taking the helm of the good ship FISO is indeed mdalzell with this week's best score of 180, narrowly beating Wizzy to the honour. At the other end, running aground like a pair of Schettinos, it's The_only_way_is_up and mike1222.

GW24 update:



A great week for kizkiz who easily beat the rest of us with 165. Our new leader mdalzell fails to extend his lead with a poor 40, still a better effort than my rubbish 5. Bringing up the rear is marco with a hopeless -40.

GW25 update:



At the top, mdalzell is holding on to his lead but not by a lot, as former leader amcal59 cuts the gap to just 20pts. Best score is bossdrum's 125, one of only 4 people to break into 3 figures this week. Welcome to newcomer SSW who makes a bad first impression with -5, but not as bad as Shivam, branners61 and paulcclark who all got -30.

GW27 update:



No update last week as I was too lazy. In 2 weeks, kizkiz has leapt from 6th to 1st while mdalzell goes in the opposite direction, falling to 5th from 1st. Kizkiz also narrowly misses out on the top GW27 score by 5pts, with the honours going to Graeme Hardcore for his 130. I had a shocker with a measly 5 but fozzman forgot to play his chips and ends up on -35.

GW28 update:



The leadership merry-go-round continues with hammerddh now taking over the reins from kizkiz. Robbedagain goes for a "1-0 in every game except ManU" strategy and top scores with 140. Branners61 gets it all wrong with a -40

GW29 update:



Former leader amcal59 takes over from hammerddh at the top. It's tight at the top as only 75pts covers the top 5. This week's top scorer, beating the rest of the field by 30pts with a quite frankly superb 130, is none other than me The_only_way_is_up is this week's rotten tomato with -40.

GW31 update:



A very good week for many of us with several 3-figure scores, the best of which was a quite frankly obscene 215 by golden bear with 4 correct scores and also the Man City draw. If only Mancini was as good at predicting draws! The_only_way_is_up came up with some left field picks that really didn't pay off this week and came last with a sorry looking -45. Amcal59 is still in the lead but 75pts now cover the top 6 so it is still all to play for.

edit: just seen they've moved Sunday's 2 matches into GW33 so we now have an 8-match week followed by a 12. How silly.

GW33 update:



With 12 matches this week, there were a lot of decent scores, with Latic coming out on top with 185. Surprised is the only player to get a negative score this week (-5). No-one seems to be able to pull away at the top and 25 pts now cover the top 4.

Too lazy to do a proper update this week. Several people came joint last with -30. Out in front was fanADE with 90, which included not only ManU 4-0 Villa, but the quite incredible Arsenal 1-2 Wigan Take a bow sir, that was a great shout.

Blimey. The Man U one I can understand but the Arsenal one was an amazing prediction. Kudos fanADE.

I've just noticed it wasn't that great a gameweek. My 60 was the best score across the top 25 in the FISO league which makes that 90 even better.

GW35 update:



Well done to Golden Bear who, with 4 correct scores, top scores this week with 140. At the other end, I thought I was doing bad with -25 but several of you saved my blushes with worse scores, the worst of which was Wizzy with -55.

I am so crap at these prediction games!

GW36 update:



Kizkiz takes the honours this week with a score of 125, predicting 4 draws where a lot of us had home wins. Golden Bear, last week's top scorer, undoes all his good work with a woeful -100 this week. At the top, mdalzell, amcal59 and Mintman slip back with negative scores, but the aforementioned kizkiz and adlad step up to keep some semblance of pressure on hammerddh, who now has a 55pt lead with 2 rounds to go.
