Another incredible decision from YTM this weekend, Huth Man of the Match after escaping to be sent off because of kicking Adam in the head...

Hi Sirs

How can you choose Huth for MM in a 0-0 match, when he kicked the head of a Blackpool player and get unfairly unpunished? See BBC report:

"Soon after, Charlie Adam was caught on the head by the boot of Stoke defender Robert Huth who appeared to fortunate to escape without any kind of card as referee Mark Clattenburg gave him the benefit of the doubt".

Regards,
Rui

Sometimes Stoke-hating is directly proportionate to whether you have Huth in your team or not....

Doing fouls and getting away with it helps your team out!

Rui,

Diddn't see the game so cannnot comment on Huth's performance, but I dont see what relevance it has in relation to his overall performance, whether he should have been given a yellow/red card.

I had the misfortune to watch the entire game and there really wasn't a stand-out player. The combination of a gale-force wind and hard surface made it a terrible match to watch and neither team really looked like scoring (even Jones' terrible miss wasn't that much of a surprise). Stoke had more pressure, so I think that The Sun probably got it right by picking a Blackpool defender for their MotM.

Anyway, we all know that the leading manager has Huth in his team and the chasing pack have all had plenty of time and transfers (?) left to cover that one. Not sure if the German will be that much of an asset in the final fixtures, so I wouldn't be too concerned about those 2 extra points, Rui

FS Record: Lousy. Not even won a house. Funnier than el_pappje. FPL Formula 1 Champion 2011. Claim to Lame winner 2011.
So having not watched the game you have decided to complain about their decision to award MOM to someone who played in it on the basis that during the match he caught a player in the head with his boot (by accident in the opinion of the referee).

I know there is heaps of money at stake but seriously......

Rui,

As you said when the mirror gave 1st place to Sandor Kovacs on the Wed after I had been top since Sunday in a monthly this season," you just have to accept it"

I think some are more gracious giving advice about losing rather than accepting it Tel.
For the record as stated a poor game, probably Whelan my MOM as he tried to win the game but as it was 0-0 can understand a defender getting it from either team :?

In fact, i watched the game and I saw a brutal agression from Huth to Adam and in that moment I thought...Huth will be sent off and Tranter will be in trouble...but referee ignore it and now Huth is awarded MM. I have to accept it, of course, but it´s sad. Whelan would be a good choice for MM, I agree.
