Watched this last night on BBC. Fascinating and worrying stuff, although I am not sure that kind of attack would ever be successful, considering it was mentioned that even under laboratory conditions, it is very difficult to get the timing and set up just right to generate the heat necessary to cause an explosion.
I wonder how long it will be before suicide bombers are actually prepared to have internal operations to insert devices into their bodies?
I thought the explosive test they carried out on the decommissioned Boeing 747 was laughable though. For a start, I don't think that flight 253 was a 747, and the "crash test dummy" was just a fashion shop mannequin

Also, they only put 2 (or 3?) rows of seats where the bomber sat - nothing in front or around- which would surely have a major impact on how the explosion would develop?
They also strapped the explosive device onto the dummies leg, but weren't they in his undercrackers?
