Watched this last night on BBC. Fascinating and worrying stuff, although I am not sure that kind of attack would ever be successful, considering it was mentioned that even under laboratory conditions, it is very difficult to get the timing and set up just right to generate the heat necessary to cause an explosion.

I wonder how long it will be before suicide bombers are actually prepared to have internal operations to insert devices into their bodies?

I thought the explosive test they carried out on the decommissioned Boeing 747 was laughable though. For a start, I don't think that flight 253 was a 747, and the "crash test dummy" was just a fashion shop mannequin  Also, they only put 2 (or 3?) rows of seats where the bomber sat - nothing in front or around- which would surely have a major impact on how the explosion would develop?

They also strapped the explosive device onto the dummies leg, but weren't they in his undercrackers?

Why have none of these devices actually worked though? Maybe MI6 run these clowns through deep cover agents on the internet and make sure the bombs dont work. Yesterday they arrested some white fruitbat cat lady in America for international Jihand??

The IRA used to say "Today we were unlucky, but remember we only have to be lucky once. You will have to be lucky always."

It is inevitable that one day, one of these devices will work. :?

we have this incompetent unseen enemy and it seem to be in the oil rich countries of late, Nigeria next up...

The Great Game in Afghanistan never went away and with the huge pipeline going in you do firm up on the idea that the US could well have been behind 911 in some way..
