Depending on they type of house you have - make sure your loft insulation is adequate and get your cavity walls insulated - saves 100's on your bills.

Some great subsidies available at the moment and you get it free if your household received any benefits or over 70's.

no this is a myth - as long as the cavity is clean and dry in the first place (checked by sending a boroscope camera in through a small drill hole) - the insulation does not have any capillary absortion properties thus it keeps a dry cavity dry.

Last year we needed three tanks of heating oil = £2000
