Ok,I see now why Andye wasn't concerned about being unable to make transfers until the start of GW 2,only not being able to make captain changes - I'd assumed it was because he already had Aguero

Now presumably that means many will have brought Aguero into their teams prior to Monday night's game, albeit some will have held off because of the uncertainty as to whether he'd play.

To be consistent therefore,I agree with Andye that Sky must allow captain changes ahead of this weekend's games.

Playing so many different FF games with different rules is demanding - especially when the games providers change and amend the previous rules !

I think I'll be entering fewer games next season !

I've got my captain points after 2 emails. They had even told me my score was correct after the first email ! Now, my total does not show the extra points....

I sent a e-mail yesterday regarding captain changes they have just got back to me explaining about how to change your captain from one player to another which i think we all know  they then finished their response with Captain changes wont become effect until the game week that starts Tuesday 23rd August as 1st 2 game weeks are treated as 1 game week due to prizes. I have Rvp and suarez as my 2 captains wonder if they can score a hat-trick against each other this weekend.....

Can someone confirm what I think that I understand from some of the above posts, primarily using the Gervinho-Silva example. Although you can't change your captain within a game week, you can transfer him out of your team.

If this is true and you transfer your captain out of your team after the game week has started, for example right now, you will have the team that you want for next weekend, but it will in effect be captainless until game week 2 starts and no player will score double points this weekend. Is this correct?

Thats what i've got. I assumed that it must be a mistake but apparently not. Balotelli for captain is coming back to haunt me twice now.

You couldn't transfer out your captain in previous years prior to the start of the new GW, or after the mid week games last season, but I don't know if that remains the case under GFM's management of the game.

edit: I'm catching up with e-mail notifications which took me to the previous page and I hadn't seen andye's post, which must be correct if he's checked it out.

Can someone please confirm that Silva should be @ 24 pts and Rooney @ 14 pts.

Captained Silva for the first GW and tried to change it to Rooney this week thinking it was a different Game week, obviously not successful and found out the reason here.

But after the last points update Silva now has 24 pts and Rooney 28 pts. To confirm, this should be a mistake right?

Gonna fire off a email if it is :)

I have emailed 3 times to get my score corrected. It seems, though I explain it clearly, that they don't understand what the error is.
I finally got Rooney's 14 points from week1, (7 + captain) but they did not revise my total.
The latest answer was that my total is correct - which it clearly is not - and that "a display issue caused by transfers" is the other problem ongoing!

Move your cursor over the "help" tab and then you will see the drop down menu has a choice of "contact us".

Attempting to change my captain this week. It accepts the change, then reverts back to your previous captain on the main view. Returning to <transfers/change captain> the captain is show correctly.

A small bug, but will it be fixed before the next matches ?

Can someone confirm as my fantasy football brain has all but retired - the double game week next week starts on Tuesday so you need your Everton/Liverpool captain in on Tuesday, as opposed to putting in this weekend to cover next Tuesday.

All this Swans success in reality has acted like kryptonite to any vague fantasy understanding I ever had!

Tues 13/3 - Mon 19/3 - eve (h)
Tues 20/3 - Mon 26/3 - qpr (a), wig (h)

Okay, looking at the captain situation. Does this now mean that we only have 4 matches to choose this weeks captain from?

Fulham v Swansea
Wigan v WBA
Wolves v Man Utd
Newcastle v Norwich

All the other premier league matches are to be played Tues/Weds so they fall into the following week, is this correct?

Thanks.. :D
