Last thing I heard from the Toon camp was that after Senegal had abondoned 2 of their pre African Cup friendlies, Pardew was still hopeful to have him even up to the QPR game!!! I know it's on 15th Jan & the Cup kicks off 7 days later but no pre tournie friendlies could swing it...

I've emailed FPL towers but it'll take forever for some stock 'we run our system based on data received by blah blah blah' so has anyone got any concrete(ish) info???

Not too much of an immediate problem for me as I've got an extra price drop before I lose 0.1mil on him but I'm sure plenty others aren't in the same boat

...could be quite amusing if FPL got it wrong & he banged another trick in...
...might captain him just in case

It's The Sun so not sure how reliable it is but .."Ameobi is ready to ease the pain of his exit. He said: "Demba has gone so it is going to be a big opportunity for someone to step in and do a job."
