I have Ben Arfa/Ox/Kompany, so I cannot give any legitimate advice on the matter ;)

I think Ben Arfa is the bees knees however.

longterm, I agree with you both, but Blackburn (H) is tempting. It would take 2 transfers to get him in

Gunna wait until the cup games are over, no point price chasing if you're going to wildcard soon anyway :)

I'm playing my wildcard for GW24 and need to get rid of Jones now that he's injured. I'm able to afford any defender I like for a one week punt in GW23, but can't decide who.

We can't see your team as your link to it is not working properly. Perhaps Walker/BAE (double up if you have one already)?

My other two defenders that I'll be playing are Kompany and BAE. I did actually consider doubling up on Spurs and going with Walker, like you suggested. At the moment up thinking of spreading the risk with Evra though.

I've considered ShawX but someone made a valid point to me earlier - Europa League.

Should this worry those of us who are contemplating a Stoke defender?

Blaze, the reason your FPL link isn't working is because you didn't change your FPL id (from your browser window on your FPL history page) in your Fiso profile at the start of the season, so rectifiable in just a few seconds.

The same Frasier Campbell who yesterday scored his second goal in two years?

Getting a bit fed up with Sturridge not doing much...

Sturridge  Robbie Keane for a couple of weeks (Ba or someone after that)

McAuley  Kelly

4 pt hit - First in a while...

Blame my manflu but for some inexplicable reason I thought City were playing at home so minutes ago I drafted in Richards for a banker clean sheet. Been staring at those fixtures for hours as well  8-)

Didn't do any in the end. This really is the very last chance for Sturridge though.

Given the money available I was happy with the shape of my post-wildcard team, and so I confirmed all of my transfers yesterday night. I felt very pleased. I included Zamora - just for a week or two - until Ba returns and then went to work.

At 7.20 this evening I found out that he had been transferred to QPR. So I started to transfer him out 10 minutes before the deadline on what I would have thought has been one of the busiest transfer days of the season.
Fail! The site let me down.

On a related note, I have nothing against all of those who brought in Keane this week, but I would now like him to under-perform tomorrow. Not injured or anything unpleasant. Just be a bit rubbish.

Any other tales of woe?

Think I got in Bale for Gerrard in the nick.

Didn't even know about Zamora! Think he plays tomorrow?

 He's a decent purchase and could do well for QPR (it's just he's unlikely to do so this week). Good luck
