Vorm

Assou-Ekotto / Cahill / Taylor R

Bale / Valencia / Walters / Sessegnon

Van Persie / Rooney / Aguero

SUBS:

Ruddy / Sinclair / Simpson / Taylor

Do you have any spare £££ to upgrade Ruddy?

Nope, none left. But I'm not fussed about keepers. Vorm is the highest keeper in the game and Ruddy is mid table. Can't argue with that for the prices. And I don't see the point of sacrificing one of the outfield players for a better Sub keeper.

But thanks for the suggestion :-)

If you're welcome to some feedback, here's mine, quickly looking at it.

BAE I'm considering shipping out to have VDV or Lennon come in for the 3 Spurs vs WIGAN (with Bale and Ade). He's scored his goal for the season and don't see much more from him other than CS... Spurs run after Wigan doesn't look good for many.

Ruddy... Much better value options to partner Vorm... Krul/Sorensen?

I think both Valencia and Rooney may be OTT until their very nice run from GW28, so I'd stick with 1.

Nice front 3 though and nice midfield. Cahill isn't yet a nailed on starter, so another reason why I'm waiting until the last chance to WC, as Chelsea will have played 2 games.

Fair comments, and thanks. I think with Rooney he's capable of scoring against anyone and is rarely dropped and Valencia is an assist machine at the moment and much better value than Nani. Arsenal's defence is shocking so can see a few goals this weekend.

Cahill isn't nailed on, but where else can you get a Chelsea defender for that price. If he's rotated then he comes out. Simple.

I know BAE won't score every week or even again for the season, but many people got caught out in the double game week not having a Spurs defender and gunning for the big 3. He gets forward and is currently the third highest scoring defender... plus I had him anyway so didn't want to lose the .4 I have already gained on him :-)

Valid point re: BAE and he still might survive in my team for the Wigan game. He'll be out in WC though.

It depends a lot on Brown. If Brown is going to make it, then I'll save the transfer and have 2 transfers for a 1 GW punt next week, before I WC.

Does anybody know anything whether Wes Brown will make it? There doesn't seem much on him other than he missed the last game due to a groin problem.

Brown was back in training on Thursday mate - given the injuries at Sunderland id like to think he'll make it. :D

I've currently got him in my side...i'm wildcarding though.

So, this is my team after WC (I think):

Vorm / Sorensen

Kompany - Senderos - Evans - Simpson - Enrique

Silva - Bale - Sessegnon - Walters - Sinclair

RVP - Aguero - Sturridge

Decided to stay with Vorm/Evans combo, rather than Lindengaard/SWA defender. Plan to rotate Sinclair/Walters on home/away basis (I'm also considering Dyer here). Sturridge will go to Ba after ACN. Have enough money left to upgrade Senderos or Evans to Cahill/Jones if need be or one of the MFs to Valencia if turns out he'll be fixture proof.

I'm similar:
Vorm / Bogdan

Kompany - Caulker - Hanley - Kelly - Raylor

Silva - Bale - Sessegnon - Walters - Dyer

RVP - Aguero - Rooney

Decided to play Vorm every week so Bogdan is a 3.9 keeper who plays just in case.
Probably some crazy defence choices but I'll play Raylor and Kompany no matter what and rotate the other 3, they can't all have bad fixtures and they DO all cost 3.9 (had Caulker a while)!
Same as you, rotate Walters and in my case Dyer.
Aguero is currently someone else (can't decide) just for this week. Will bring in Aggy next week. 0.6 in the bank if Aguero stays at 11.1

WC team is looking like this:

Sorensen
Lindegaard

Richards
Jose Enrique
Simpson
Brown
Kelly

Sessegnon
Bale
Silva
Valencia
Walters

RVP
Aguero
Sturridge

Kelly is there short term - basically went with him over Caulker in the short term to enable me to do Richards  Kompany if i feel the need.

Lindegaard is my punt - it was basically him or Johnny Evans for Man U coverage. Feel more confident that he will get the gametime.

Biggest headache has been my defence - getting the combos right. Think my two expensive picks are sorted for the rest of the season (same with Simpson). I'm open minded about the other two defensive slots, and i think i'll be doubling up on some teams with semi-blocks for the run in if i'm still chasing - got the luxury of downgrading a midfielder to fund this if need be.

Goalkeepers rotate well for pretty much the rest of the season too, which is nice.

I think my bases covered for the coming couple of months at least....famous last words!!!

The first one looks reasonable, but Adebayor has a nice home game with Wigan in GW23 so I'd only do the first one if it were me.

Yeah, I was thinking about that myself but adebayor has recently been a let down against the lesser teams. I could bring him back in for aguero the following week as I'm wildcarding after GW23 anyway. I appreciate the comment though.

The other option is torres for one or two games of course. But then again I already have sturridge and....it's torres.

I'd say the opposite, that Lindegaard is a big rotation risk and Evans is pretty much nailed on while Vidic is out. Mingolet and Evans instead of Lindegaard and Brown would be an option.

Very similar team to the one I intend to get with my pre-GW24 wildcard. 8-)

Looked at that but the goalkeeper rotations are a lot better with Sorensen & Lindegaard.

It's a punt-hopefully it comes off.

RE Evans....there are just too many variables with man u at the back. I read that smalling and jones are back for tomorrow, and that Ferdinand will play. Throw in a Brazilian twin and my head explodes. Plus I just don't think Evans is good enough to hold down a spot there.

At least with Lindegaard its one or the other, and hopefully he's given a run as he looks the better bet justnow.

I'd say the preferred back four is Smalling, Jones, Ferdinand, Evra, whilst Vidic is out. Evans is getting a game courtesy of Smalling's injury/illness, and may deputise for Ferdinand on occasion.

The thing to keep in mind and that is Fergie seems to love Evans and plays him a lot.

yup, plus jones has been very poor at CB on occasion this season. I don't think ferguson will play him there that often, more likely CM and occasionally RB. I think evans is a pretty poor player, but isn't that de rigueur for united in the last season or so?

He's far from "nailed on" in Vidic's absence though.

Trying to work out if I should WC to do:

Adebayor  Fletcher
Yakubu  Aguero
Richards  Cahill

...or just take the 8 point hit.

I'm happy with the rest of my midfield (Nani, Bale, Silva) and the rest of my team is pretty standard.

Anyone take the hit here?

Obviously I'll have to use the WC soon anyway. I missed the boat on price rises, but I guess points > pounds...

How will your team look if you just did Yak > Fletcher?

It would mean you can bench Ade and play him GW23 (and Wild Card once the deadline has passed).

Anyone care to rate or slate?

I play 3-4-3 every week and have £0.3m in the bank.

GK'S - Sorensen , Lindegaard

DEF'S - Kelly , Senderos , Evans , simpson , santon

MID'S - Dempsey , Walters , Silva , Bale , Mcclean

FOR'S - Aguero , Rooney , Van Persie

I had Vorm from day 1 when he was £4m but just dont like Swansea's fixtures from now on great keeper tho he is.

I will use Fulham and newastle blocks alternating weeks with evans who can be changed to gary cahill if the chelsea defence improves and he is a regular starter.

I want mcclean in my team so that rules out sessegnon, mcclean will play when Walters is away from home.

The forward's will share the capt's armband depending on form and fixtures.

My main rival is a die-hard liverpool fan and will capt gerrard most weeks,if needs be i could change silva to gerrard to cancel this out but would prefer silva as he plays for a team that scores more goals.

Only 2 points ahead in my mini league rival so your opinions would be appreciated.

And play a defensive three of Warnock, Senderos, Simpson...

Good question.

Not too bad as long as Richards plays, even if he doesn't I might get lucky with my bench.

Sometimes you need to consider an angle you haven't thought of. Thanks!

Nani Silva Bale Moses Drenthe

Sturridge RVP

or

Valencia Silva Bale Moses/Drenthe

Aguero Sturridge RVP

I have Nani and Adebayor, looking to ditch both for Valencia and Aguero. Good move?

Would rather Aguero over Nani and given fixtures, Adebayor and Valencia are probably about even.

I'm still tweaking my wildcard, have figured out that by gutting my defense a little (Stockdale → Tremmel, Evans → Wilkinson), I can squeeze Valencia in for McClean. Two concerns though. It'd leave me with a front eight of (Silva Bale Valencia Walters Sessegnon / Van Persie Aguero Rooney) so I'd have to bench someone decent every week. Walters and Sess do rotate quite well though. More pressing, my backs would look a little shaky with both Kelly and Wilkinson in at 3.9 and zero spare cash if one gets dropped or injured.

Brought Shawcross in for Jagielka.

He has a poor fixture next week but I had a dream Stoke won 2-0 an Shawcross got an assist.

The rest of my team looks good for next week so even if I'm replacing Shawcross again I'm not really bothered.

I'm using my WC immediately after the update today and I had a free transfer to burn, I like the look of Sunderlands CS chance this week better than Swanseas (I also have Vorm)

My WC team.... who knows :P
