Next draw is up (starting with tonight's games), and I feel more confident Ghana earlier rounds. My opponent has no transfers left, and no flexibility in defence. And with 8 midfielders, I think he may struggle to play everyone on Saturday.

Ah well, that's over confidence. I make it that I'm 11 points down with two games to play. I need big scores from Nasri and Petrov, plus a few goals for Blackpool

Took a risk and put RVP and Sturridge into my Fiso team.

Think my opponent may have a 1 point lead going into tomorrow now.

Knocked out as well. Did not notice that Suarez got 3 assists. :(

Still going in the champions league 11 - 7 up with Suarez + Carroll vs Dempsey. Definitely the favourite at the moment, but I'm not counting my chickens yet!

Nice 8-) - I'm still going too but only in Europa. 12-6 up going into tomorrow. My Dempsey v his Baird/Reina/Skrtel - best hope it's not a 0-0 then!

Still in (europa)...just, losing 11-8. My Carroll, Kuyt and Dempsey against his Suarez and Reina. Had to use last Transfer to bring in Dempsey, have a feeling I should have saved it now that Bale is out for season, but think it's called S or B .

Still in Champions League - currently losing 3-0 after a schoolboy error of not playing Kompany this week, expecting Tottingham to score, but not realising my opponent had Hart in goal.

I have two transfers left, oppo has none. I hope I don't lose by 3 points.

Logged-on at about 12.30pm this afternoon after taking the wife shopping  and spotted that Nolan was injured, and checked Sky to see he had had an operation, so at 12.44pm I used one of my two remaining transfers:

OUT Nolan
IN DJ Campbell

:D

Haha nice work Jonathan!

I was 3 points down after my opponent played Kompany and Hart, but now lead by 4 thanks to Adam and Odemwingie.

Walcott, RVP, Suarez, Malouda VS Sagna, Cole, Nasri, Kuyt, Drogba, N'zogbia, Dempsey and Young

He's got quite a lot to play

Did enjoy that! Not enjoying this week so much though.. now 8-8 going into tomorrow but losing on goals scored. All looking a bit iffy

I got beat 25-23 I think. Flippin' marvellous. Had a decent day as well but got diddled by Hangeland's freak 9 pointer!

Pretty sure I am through to the last 16 for Champions League, but the site hasn't updated telling me as such yet. I can't quite work out what happens now.

For the coming weekend, you use your current squad (plus transfers if you have any) to try and score more points than the other 15 finalists. All games kick off at the same time, so apart from tonight you won't need your supersubs.

It might be worth sending them an email to see if tonight's game counts towards the weekend!

The site says that the Knockout 32 stage finished yesterday, and I am waiting to see how they handle the one outstanding game this week. How can the transfers work if all games kick-off at the same time?

You can get rid of a no-hoper before the games start, to bring in someone who could score points.

Congrats Jonathan! Pleased to see that not playing Kompany didn't prove disastrous :)
Good luck in the final! And if you don't have any transfers left, check all line-ups just before kickoff and make sure that every player of your selected 11 is at least in the matchday squad.

ah right I see. Well I used my last remaining transfer on Sunday whilst stood outside Buckingham Palace on a slooooow 3G connection on my iPhone, just to try and make sure I went through, so I have none left anyway! I was panicking for a minute thinking the whole squad scored points!

Thanks menace. When I checked the scores from my hotel room in London after the games on Sunday, I was thinking that Hangeland had done for me, because my oppo had him.

However, I also had Hughes' clean sheet for Fulham, and in the end even my DJ Campbell transfer wouldn't have made a difference as I have gone through 23 v 14.

I am pleased I have Adam and DJ from Blackpool though, and I don't think Vidic or Nani will play full games, and VDV seems the only doubt for my squad at the moment. I have told my wife to leave me alone next Sunday!

Fired an email off to OFL about tonight's game, although I think I will play Kompany just in case!

Received an email back stating that the game tonight will NOT count towards anything for the Knockout stages. So it looks as though the minimum I have won is a free go for next season, or the maximum, which I can't bring myself to type! 1\16 chance. Oh my

Thanks, reds. Apart from a couple of weeks where there was only the odd point or 3 in it, I got to this stage with some surprisingly good wins. I keep telling myself I should be happy with a free go, but it would be great to get more.

I am hoping they list the other 15 teams who are through before Sunday so I know what I am up against, but so far they haven't.

I take it your team is Lick My Jabulani Jonathan? Have a look in the FE League and you'll find one of the 15 up against you :)

Good luck this weekend I'll also be rooting for you :) (for second place :P)

Aha! That is two I know then, the other one being the team in first place in my Premier League! Good luck to you as well. I won't aim too high, but I would love a cash prize!

The Sprint Finish tables are up! As far as I can tell, only two teams have any transfers they can make before the kick-off tomorrow in the Champions League last 16. I am assuming the OFL website will get hit hard tomorrow on the build up to 4.00pm, so worthwhile getting at least some kind of starting 11 in there early.
