Well done to Tony for hanging on to 2nd too.

Hated it this season - nothing to do with the game - just became disenchanted with it. Made all the wrong decisions and never really got anywhere. Evidenced by having transfers left in all my teams ...Pondering involvement next year...

indeed .. indeed after a top 20 finish overall last year i felt the same had to play catch up and most of my gambles never paid off my only difference x-man is i wont ponder over entering i'll definately be in !!

I did 4teams this year and couldnt have got it more wrong! Each team had the highest score in one of the 4 majors and the one that actually won me a weekly prize had the lowest in the other 3 majors.

With choice clearlycomes confusion and sticking to your guns appears to me better than spreading your choices.

Still planning on 4 teams next year - 3 of them having at least 3 players the same each week and the 4th being the wild card that omits Mr Woods if he becomes obstructively expensive...........which he needs to be!

The winter league Today comp with him at £10m is quite cool as youthen have to weigh up whether 5 cheapies can outdo a more balanced team.

Well done to all winners - condolences to the Garcia's out there and bring on next season where I will come back fighting fit and ready to make those last minute alterations to my team that have me removing all the winners.....Some things won't change!
