Just thought I'd start a new thread for notices to save me replicating the same post on every thread.

Firstly, I have created a FISO Goals mini-league for all DLA competitors - you'll need the following to enter:-

Name: DLA Premiership Predictions
ID: 7

Kev, this is through the link at the top of this page. If you're already registered to play then click on My Mini Leagues.

If you have any more problems then stand in the corner with this on your head...

Kev my sincerest apologies. I realised my error when e-mailing out the details and must have forgotten to change the earlier post.

Please pass me the hat...

Anybody is allowed in one of them and the other is the Early Doors Cup (can't remember but you probably used to be in that one)

Every time I read about the DLA...

"Wow! My flabber has been truly gasted by the reaction to this post! Honestly I can’t remember the last time my gob was so smacked. Just in case anyone didn’t realise that most of the posters on SO’T were out of touch middle class liberals, this post comes along to confirm the fact in spades.

Listen to yourselves! The DLA? The DLA? The biggest joke in the Brandywell (50% disabled according to the DLA, funny I drove through there twice a day for ten years, never saw a wheelchair or blind person once, plenty of nice new cars and pizza deliverymen though!). The Derry Living Allowance! Seriously folks calm down, do you honestly, truly, in your heart of hearts believe that most, even a substantial majority of DLA recipients are genuinely disabled or “carers” of disabled dependents? Because if you do there’s a fine bridge in Brooklyn which I have the pleasure of selling to you exclusively.

Who is the clown above that said it’s very difficult to get it? Christ in a kebab shop, you just tootle along to your harassed GP and he’ll write you the chit, honestly folks it’s that easy. Next time you’re in Derry and you’ve run out of smokes or a bottle of Smirnoff, ring up your friendly local taxi company, they’ll have a driver around in a jiffy. See that lovely spanking new deisel Vauxhall Cavalier he’s driving? Aye well don’t look to closely at the badge he’s got in the front windscreen (hint, he also gets the nice parking spots at Sainsbury’s).

I have no doubt that many genuinely disabled people benefit from the DLA, but for fuxake spare us the middle class outrage that anyone might happen to question whether the system is being abused.

Save it for the Guardian, I thought posters around here actually had a clue what was really going on in their society.

(Conversation overheard in Foyleside Shopping Centre five years ago, two 19 year old boys discussing their need for transport “Sure get yoursel’ on the DLA, they’ll give ye a motor”, “Aye that’s alright, but they don’t pay for the eff’ petrol do they?” No I did not make this up)"

:?

All teams in the DLA are automatically entered into the TTT - you're currently 32nd. Does that make any sense?

Yes. It means that 31 people are doing better than I am.

Seriously though I didn't realise that I was automatically in so thanks for the clarification.

At last! A team of mine is actually doing well in something

(shame I swopped Rooney for a certain penalty-missing Dutchman at the weekend)

Here's a look at the superleague standings after week 7:-

Code:
League                     Top 5 Position
Drunken Elite              259.6    104th
Drunken League Division 2  236.6  1,428th
Drunken League Division 1  233.2  1,859th
Drunken Conference         231.2  2,145th
Drunken Championship       230.6  2,245th
Drunken Premiership        208.8  6,469th

Got to admit the 'Premiership' isn't exactly living up to it's name
