FS Record: FPL a work in progress, got over 2,000 pts last season, usually do a bit better in FISO IKTS league 2nd, 8th, 15th last 3yrs.
Interesting week, Bale/VDV obvious choices, also good chance Man Utd bounce back and thump Bolton, and I even like Mata vs Sunderland (not in poll).

Currently on VDV (c) with Bale (vc), but may change.

It was the last one I took out! (went over the 25 limit, should be 30)

Yes, another good choice. This week is clearly wide open, could be chance for differentials, the only consensus seems to be to NOT captain RVP for once.

RVP is the only one of my squad who's not playing at home this GW!

Lot of options this week but going RVP (c), Bale (vc)

If in doubt, stick to what you know best!

Seeing Bolton's defence this season, It might be a good thing for Rooney if Cahill played...

If Cahill decides he is leaving I'll go with Rooney

If not I'll stick with Bale

Anyone want to speculate on the probability of Berbatov starting v Bolton (and scoring 4 goals)?
2 good home performances against Wigan and Blackburn, before the loss at Newcastle. I'm thinking SAF might start him in the weekend against another bottom side where utd can have possession, before the tough run of Ars, Stoke, Che and Liv where he obviously will not play much.
(Jan WC coming up soon so this is short term Ba swap)

Seeing as he didn't even make the bench vs City in the FA Cup after his abject performance away at Newcastle, it would be a stretch to see him starting here imo. He is the ultimate flat track bully though, so who know's.

Can't see Berbatov starting against Bolton when the next game is over a week away. He may get the stoke game because he's taller than Hernandez, and the Norwich game is in between important fixtures. They have already screwed up against weaker opposition twice, so I reckon it will be strongest 11 out whenever possible.

8.9m is a lot to gamble with.

Looking at the redcafe forum, majority expects Welbeck to start up front with Rooney. I was considering Berbs as well again and take Adebayor out but yea, too risky I reckon (not taking Ade out, but picking Berbs that is).

Very hard gameweek to make a captain descission, Nani has better odds of scoring than Bale, wich just gives him the nod for me. Espescially if Cahill departs before this weekend.

Man City has scored the most away goals and Wigan have conceded the second highest number of goals at home, yet only three votes for Aguero... :?

I'm thinking Nani (c) with Bale (vc), but for some reason i'm uncomfortable with it. I've watched Nani in his last few games and he's been poor - but he has potential to score big this weekend.... :?

One thing i do know is that the armband is not going to Adebayor again.

And that Man City have a point to proof... I want Dzeko in for Adebayor but that's another thread to talk about that. Anyways, those who will captain VDV.. be wary as I can see him being rested while Defoe takes his place.

I have been thinking about giving him the band; is this statement based on anything substantial? I see VDV played 90 minutes on Weds when Defoe didn't even come off the bench, yet Pavlyuchenko did. Maybe you are onto something...

Exactly, hence Arry might have told Defoe he would get the start this game against Wolves with Adebayor as his partner (who will have two weeks of rest afterwards although I think he should be rested already due to the way he plays). Nothing substantial, just a hunch from my side as well as that Spurs should't take any risks on VDV hurting his hammy again after having played the full 90 mins a few days earlier. That's just my few cents. Don't shoot me if you don't put the (c) on him and he does score double figures..

Really not sure this gameweek. Tempted by Adebayor but the devil in me is looking at Mata as an outsider.

I cant decide who to captain between: RVP, Adebayor, or Aguero, I captained Adebayor for last weeks double gameweek and as per normal for me this season every time i have captained him he has let me down, also got a feeling he may be rested for Defoe with spurs playing Saturday having already played twice this week.

So its probably between Aguero and RVP, tempted to go with Aguero as Wigan try to play so could be lots of chances but weary of City's rotation system, the sensible choice would be RVP I suppose.

Help Me!
