Just noticed Swansea have only lost one game at home Wigan lost five, I think its the toss of a coin.

FS Record: FPL a work in progress, got over 2,000 pts last season, usually do a bit better in FISO IKTS league 2nd, 8th, 15th last 3yrs.

Interesting week, Bale/VDV obvious choices, also good chance Man Utd bounce back and thump Bolton, and I even like Mata vs Sunderland (not in poll).

Currently on VDV (c) with Bale (vc), but may change.

I've switched it around to Bale (c), VDV (vc), just to reflect risk that VDV gets rested or doesn't play the full 90mins as it's a game they should win comfortably, and hard not to see Bale playing a big part in that.

Swansea are very solid at home, RvP will do well to get one goal. But who knows, maybe Arsenal will finally open the floodgates at the Liberty, STILL got it on Bale, although having him play two days ago where as Nani as had a few more days rest, is tempting.

Who's your goalie? Maybe go RVP captain and stick Vorm in net to cover yourself?

If there isn't an obvious standout option and it appears to be a toss up between 2-3 players I often choose the one with the lowest ownership. If it works out in your favour you're more likely to accend in the rankings.

Valencia could be a great differential with only 3.6% ownership.

Aguero (C)
Gerrard (V)

Very tempted to go Gerrard, Just think Man City will want to bounce back & show they are the team to beat & Aguero is your man, Man City will win 1-5 Aguero 3, Silva, Lescott!

You heard it here first & if i'm correct, i want a job on here as score predictions scout, hope youre listening FISO!!

I'm feeling nani. Not sure why, Bale would be a smarter choice, but i cant help but think i will get burnt if i dont follow my gut.

i have exactly the same idea/issue. i took such a caning last week though that i'm gonna play it safe. also bear in mind that most people who did well last week probably didnt have much man u coverage. all being well , being a nani owner will be a minor "differential" this GW irrespective of captaincy choice. (is that nonsense? as i type this i'm thinking it is)

I'm going for Nani over Bale, my reasoning is that Nani last played on Sunday for 60 minutes and Bale for 90 minutes on Wednesday. Also, I'd expect Cahill heading to Chelsea will disrupt and weaken Bolton further. All things equal I would have gone for Bale, but this GW appears to be Nani's.

Valencia. He's excelled in the home games where Utd have run riot, even when playing at full back.

More of the same please.

I'm always uncertain about giving the armband to a midfielder, so I'm going back to Van Persie now. 17 goals, 6 assists and 27 BPs just says it all really. I don't care what Swansea's home record is either, he's the Flying Dutchman. 8-)

Rooney vs. a Gary Cahill-less Bolton.

Expect that assist to be removed by the way. It skimmed Welbeck before it got to Scholes

This is absolute bull. So Rooney misses a penalty, misses open goal and will lose both of his assists although they were completely his making?

The second one touches the defender yes?

F****** bull**** game.

The 2nd assist wont be taken away but the 1st most definitely should be. I agree the FF rules re assists are utter S****, some of the assists that have been given this season are B*******. but you cant blame FF for Rooney missing a pen and an open goal, my Sherlock like instincts tells me you have periwig as ur skipper.

Why is the 2nd assist fine? Didn't the Bolton player actually touch it? I would say the first one should stand as I didn't see Welbeck touch it, however I did read others have seen it so I'll just go with them as I didn't analyze it that much.

I know, I'm angry with God (and Rooney). My league competitors didn't have a great week either so, maybe I can get out of this in one piece after all.

Went with Aguero. Another 2 point captain. I'm having an awful season on FPL.
