Games during the transfer window

Sorry if this has been mentioned before but i'm a bit confused by this window

"Transfer Window 3 opens at 12:30 GMT Saturday 17 December 2011 and closes at 12:30 on Friday 23 December 2011 with scoring starting from later eligible games."

Does that just mean scoring for transferred players starts after 12:30 on the 23rd regardless ?

Or do my new players start scoring in the first game after they're transferred ?

Basically first games to start scoring after transfers will be on the 26th Dec - well thats how I read it

Spurs play Chelsea 8pm the night previous to window ending and teams only start playing 3 days after that so a last minute rush from a fair percentage though the majority no doubt choosing to do theirs early.No wdt so presumably the reason is they want to make sure all the transfers go through pre Christmas?
