SALARY = £20K - £35K PER ANNUM, DOE.
My client is looking to recruit an experienced sprayer/finisher for a successful business, specialising in the production of bespoke furniture for the high-end market. Job Role
Finishing and spraying pieces of furniture and accessories, taking each piece to the required level of grain fill and sheen level. When required, to assist in the manufacture of work, prior to spraying.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the cutting back and general preparation required prior to spraying.
• Develop an understanding of the environment required for spraying, i.e. moisture levels, air flow and air contamination.
• Develop an understanding of different lacquers and preparation techniques, suited to different jobs.
• Develop an understanding of grain filling and sheen levels suited to different jobs.
• Make proper use of safety equipment provided.
• Maintain a tidy manner and good level of house keeping in the spray shop.
• Take on the responsibility of the spraying of pieces to the high level of quality required.
• Plan a job so that the final deadline is achieved, allowing for re-sprays if necessary.
• When there is no spraying/preparation to do, be willing to assist in the manufacture of furniture and accessories.
• Be flexible and enthusiastic!
Excellent starting salary – up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.

I'm sure that some of those unemployed graffiti lads can provide the individual touch appropriate for bespoke furniture.

Is this position dependent upon the successful recruitment of the cabinet maker which you recently advertised? Wouldn't like to think that my recommended sprayer had nothing to spray and might return to his previous activity. :wink:

I am honoured that people have replied to the post, a lot more than usual :lol:

If anyone knows of anyone suited then I am sure I could make it worth your while, financially speaking, should they be taken on :)
