Mine is still the Jeux Sans Frontiers programme from the 70s/80s...I still find the Penguin game when Stuart Hall almost dies laughing the funniest couple of minutes of television I have ever seen.

Little reached the levels of Only Fools and Horses but a classic that will stand the test of time is Brents' dance in the Office

One where the paint is still wet.....

Harry Potter pinging a condom onto Dame Diana Rigg's head in last week's Extras.

This series is an absolute classic, and I'm not 'avin a laugh..... It is very funny, but the underlying poinancy is immense. Well done RG!

Personally, I think it's funnier than The Office in many ways. Top series... shame there's only going to be six episodes this series and that'll be it.

Got to be Graham Taylor and Phil Neal's comedy double act trying to qualify for the 94 world cup.
Start to finish comedy gold, particularly 'I wake up in the morning with the usual, pyjamas wet through' and the verbal manslaughter of Rob Shepherd.
Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!

I know its not strictly on TV, but the Agnew and Johnston 'Legover' incident on BBC Radio's Test match special ranks highly amongst the funniest moments in media. Purely becasue we have all been there, in a situation where we know we arent supposed to laugh, but just cant help it.

If you have lived in a cave for the last fifteen years and are unaware of what i'm on about, you can hear it on the BBC website here.

Edit: moved text as it was bang in the middle of other quotes.

There was a programme on last week about the making of OFAH. They thought of the idea of Del falling through the hatch TEN years before it got into an episode. Says something about waiting for the right time. John Sullivan is a genius.

Great shout Zeus  I had a cassette at one time with a load of BJ gaffes and stories on it including the one you are talking about and it was very funny. Must try to dig it out.

Numerous from Fawlty Towers - the scene in which Basil attacks his broken-down car with a tree branch is a particular favourite.

Think for me funniest moment was the blow up dolls in only fools, my mum was staying with us, even though was not young at time still felt a bit embarresed, then out of corner of my eye looked at my mum, she was crying with laughter, it was first time had ever seen my mum laugh at something like that, will remember it for ever

Saturday morning BBC show (Swap Shop or the one after it? with someone like Sarah Greene). Dull interview with naff band of the day, lets open the phonelines, hello caller 1.... "Matt Bianco, you bunch of w***ers"

Well, I laughed anyway....

Also Sam Fox and Mick Fleetwood presenting the Brits.

Of intended humour the chandelier probably wins although good shouts for The Young Ones ("You hum it, I'll smash your face in", "tell me Mrs Vyvyan, why did you give your son a girl's name", "ra, ra, ra, we're going to smash the oiks" etc), Fawlty Towers (I liked Basil the rat, the 'light switch' and the waldorf salad more than the car thrashing), Blackadder (maybe 'Bob' or Baldrick's turnip shaped like a thingy and thingy shaped like....))

Does anyone remember the granny diving on Soccer AM. Absolutely had me in stitches when I first saw it, and still brings a good chortle now.

For those who missed it, here you are....

Freddie Starr (How many d's and p's?) did a football match - the bit I remember (due to being unable to breathe) was a penalty taken by Freddie as Ray Charles who misses the ball but the goalie (Adolf Hitler I think) still dives

Top Gear really makes me laugh sometimes.

When they all had to make boats and Jeremy Clarkson turned up with the biggest outboard motor on the back of a pick-up truck on his boat...

The olympic special when in order to win at Biathlon rather than aim carefully with a rifle Clarkson pulled out a sub machine gun and fired off about 300 rounds (all missed)...

When the 3 of them went car-a-vannning and Jeremy blew up their van (and scorched the one next door too.....

spring to mind and those are just from the last year.
