Spike Milligan calling Prince Charles a ' grovelling little Sh*t', live at the comedy awards.

Comedy genius.

I think it was on an American quiz show, but the host asks a couple "where is the most unusual place that they have had sex". Before they have had chance to confer, the wife blurts out with a serious expression - "In the Ass", well the clip of it makes me laugh.

Numerous from Fawlty Towers - the scene in which Basil attacks his broken-down car with a tree branch is a particular favourite.

what about the one when he thinks the hotel inspector is arriving (mr hutchington) never laughed so much in life

There are so many class moments from that show.

Basil's conversation with the deaf woman about the view of Torquay springs to mind. Also the Germans episode when he says Don't mention the war, I did once, but I think I got away with it' Funniest programme ever by quite a margin (IMO) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MbeT7_ARm8 . Shame there was only ever 12 episodes.

This thread has got me wetting myself - I'd never seen that diving lady clip before.

Apart from the obvious classics there was a great scene in Big Train where they go to a bar and two of the people are dressed as a cat and dog. They proceed to get drunk, argue and fight outside the kebab shop. No-one else seems aware that they are a cat and dog - if anone can find that clip I'll post a lot of smiley faces for you.

A comedy moment most on this site will have seen.

Steven Taylor (Newcastle) pretending to be shot on MOTD season before last. After much writhering around on the ground, the ref gave him the red card and awarded a pen for handball.

He repeted the trick to a lesser extent this season against Man U. This time he got away with it - although all the players knew the officials didn't.

Got to mention the one with the blow up dolls as well. As they drive off and they pop up into the rear window.

The look on the faces of the smug bustards who lost their seats, one after the other in the 1997 General Election after 18 years of Tory rule. Oh, God, how I enjoyed that night!

Shame about the sh1ts who replaced them, though.

Which reminds me: Tony Blair P.M. is an anagram of 'I'm Tory Plan B'.
