Going to try something new this week. I normally update the injury table with all the team news that comes out before FPL games so I thought I might as well post the links somewhere as well. I'll group by club but I don't know how much time I'll have to add context to each link. This will very much be a test and a work in progress. Most official sites put up news sometime during the day through Friday.

The primary source for team news, apart from the official club sites, is the PL official site here - http://www.premierleague.com/page/Fixtu ... 06,00.html . This has previews of all the weekend games and most other sites simply rehash or recycle that news; oddly enough the PL website is a little slow to post up its previews but they're normally all there by mid-afternoon. I'll post official site links and anything that doesn't appear in the PL previews. If you think you've spotted something please post it in a reply and I'll try and use it.

[edit] Just to clarify the main aim of this is to present new news within the last week or so, rather than mention already established injuries etc. where there is no recent update.

Liverpool have announced that due to a persistent groin injury Steven Gerrard will play no more games this season.

Several people have posted on FISO that The Guardian's squad sheets are reliable

Richard Jolly hasn't got them off to a great start this week http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011 ... birmingham

Bentley is definitely out and , after last week , you would expect Kevin Phillips to start - a view backed up by http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/ ... ce-1558431

Also , it is debatable as to whether Curtis Davies is a probable starter

That's every team covered now.

The usual candidates among the official sites have not posted team news articles yet. I expect a few of these will be out by tomorrow morning.

Well, that was an interesting experiment last time out but I won't have time to do that every week and I definitely won't this week.

Might be a stretch to get the Injury Table updated for that matter this week.
