I thought I should flag this early on....when on my Xbox yesterday it is advertising that Sky Sports is free for today only (presumably only to those with a Gold Live subscription).

I assume it is an attempt to push the Sky Player service via Xbox, as it is that that you need to download - for free.

I'm not sure if there are any catches but am posting it before I head out for a while to give others the chance to look into it. Might also be worth a Mod making it an announcement for today - may interest people in football and gaming forums who might miss it in here.
