As some of you may be aware I've made a greasemonkey script to fix some common complaints about the FPL web site.

C = Complete
B = Broken

C 1. Allows all stats to be shown in the player profile window. (scroll using the mousewheel)
C 2. Enlarge the player profile window
C 3. Allows you to click a player's points in the transfer page to see points from last 3 games and fixtures for next 3 games
C 4. Show more info about each player in graphical view such as price paid, sells for, price now, form, value form
B 5. Show info on the effectiveness of your squad and 'best 11' such as overall form, points to help decide if transfers are worthwhile
C 6. Add more stats to sort players on such as score last season, NTIs, NTOs, and a rating I calculate for each player
B 7. Show a link to each manager's history page from league pages
B 8. Show how well the captain has done on each week and an overall total on history page.
B 11. The team information is updated after every time you change the squad
C 12. Added Megatons Rating
C 15. Added 'My Team' to the list of filters in the transfer page
B 19. Hover over the team name in league list to see how the team has done that week
C 20. Add home and Away information to player information window
C 21. Add fixture info to razzarating
B 22. Save username and password info - chrome doesn't offer option - fixed in main site now
C 23. Display player's points alongside every stat
C 24. Add ability to sort by crack the code data (price change liklihood)
C 25. First stab at showing difficultyof upcoming fixture, more to come on this including next n fixtures

Thanks to all those who've helped test, and suggested changes

The script is available now at this url http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/34047

I'm happy to take comments and requests for anything else that people might want, but make no guarantees as to when/if they'll get done.

Instructions for chrome users
Just click the url above. You don't need to install greasemonkey as it is built in to chrome.
Instructions for Firefox users
Install Greasemonkey by clicking the link at the top of the post, then click the url above.
Instructions for opera users
Gary Pallister has repackaged the script in to an opera add-on and it is available here https://addons.opera.com/addons/extensi ... display=en

There is also a BETA available here with other changes, but it's not 2011/2012 compatible currently. During the season once I've got the main script to where it should be I may add some test functionality to this script http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/34431

Top stuff mate, but there is two things I've noticed so far -

the "all stats" thingo (your first point) doesn't work on the transfer page, at least for me. It works fine in the my team section, apart from the fact that when I try and scroll it moves the box around the screen.

If you need me to make that a bit clearer I will try.

I've got it set to wait for two seconds while FPL opens the window and sets the dimensions. I then resize it. If your machine is a bit slower it might be that that timeout is too low. Give it another few tries, and if not open the script and search for 2000 try replacing with 3000 or 4000.

You must use your mousewheel to scroll unfortunately. If you're on a laptop you can usually slide your finger down the right hand side of the touchpad to emulate scrolling with a mouse wheel. If this still isn't working I can look to see if I can get the scrolling working......

Love it! How do you calculate the Razza rating by the way? Would be nice to know.

It's only a script so it's there for all to look at, although I'm aware it's just lines of gobbledygook to some.

I played with this last season and haven't touched it since. I think some of it could probably be reworked. TBH I'm not sure how I picked some of the numbers. I think the 23 was when we were 23 gameweeks in so should probably be whichever gameweek we're at. I think the same with 19.

razza_rating = (LastSeasonsPoints + ((total * 38) / 23) + (form * (38 / 2)))
= last seasons total + projected total for this year + a scaled up value based on the form

razza_rating_ignore_injuries = (LastSeasonsPoints + total + ((points_per_game) * 19) + (form * 2))
= last seasons total + total for this year so far + points per game * 19 + form * 2

razza_rating_ignore_injuries_value = (razza_rating_ignore_injuries / event_cost)
= razza_rating_ignore_injuries / cost at start of the week

I might rejig some of those formulas so they grab the correct gameweek.

it'd be brill to have a couple of features to help recognise potential PADs..

a) firstly to have an option to see the bonus point scorers in that gameweeks
b) and to see bonus point form

great job anyway

if anyone uses Opera on here you can use the following user-css as a site preference if you want the window scrollable and longer
Code:
.ism_window_content {
overflow-x: auto !important;
overflow-y: auto !important;
height:600px !important;
}

working on modifying razza's js file too if someone needs it for Opera later,

As I said on the other thread, great stuff Razza. It works a treat.

I've just started looking at the other things you've added like your rankings but I can't see the NTI/NTO data or the squad value stuff - should this be on the main dropdown list where score/minutes played etc is?

Thanks for this, much better. Plus the option to turn it on or off is a nice touch.

5. This is shown under the two checkboxes under the team value. Tick the one that says 'Show extra team info'

6. Look for 'Nett Transfers In' and 'Nett Tranfers Out' :lol:

This is a nice idea, and it will take more work as this data will have to be gathered separately. Perhaps I can work something out with DiamondPlus as he would maybe already be gathering this data.

Fantastic.

It's got all the good things that the normal FPL site has.... but this time there is bacon. How top is that?

Great to have even more stats to tempt me into wasting points on useless transfers each week.

Muchos gracias senor :D

Thanks everyone. I've released a new version - see the first post for details.

The main thing is that you can see how well your captain choices have gone from your history page. Mines at (c)=17/58 29.3%

It makes for quite sad reading!

Any chance of an idiots guide to installing this?

Got greasemonkey installed, but not sure how to get the script going. Created a new script on the fpl page, C+Pd in the code from your script in, then saved. It didn't do anything though. I can't see any way to add premade scripts??

From what I hear mumbles71 is putting together some sort of guide. I expect he'll post a url here when he's done. The most important thing though is to ensure you're running firefox, and have installed greasemonkey. The link for greasemonkey is in the first post. When you've done that go to my link (also in the first post :lol: ) and click the install button - it's hidden near the top on the right hand side. You may want to uninstall the one you created Maureenho.

When I click install it only gives me the option to save the file... therein lies the problem ;)

I've uninstalled greasemonkey and reinstalled. Now it wants to properly install the script. No problems now :lol:

I can see how number 8 works (a very nice addition that saves a few clicks) but I can't see how 9 works. Which page should I be looking at because the history one looks the same? :?

When you click on a players 'History' link you get taken to http://fantasy.premierleague.com/M/entryhist.mc?id=[PlayerID]. This is the page it should appear on. If it's not appearing try uninstalling the previous script, or making sure that that page (http://fantasy.premierleague.com/M/entryhist.mc*) is on the list of included pages in the greasemonkey configuration page as it wasn't in the previous version.

You should see it working its way down each gamesweek taking just under a second for each week, then putting the total at the top.

Actually there is one thing I have noticed - and this may be just me because my PC tends to be fairly independent sometimes - When I use the "i" button and the player info page opens it seems to alternate between opening small and expanding and then next time opening large and shrinking back to the size it used to be. Human interface error?

edit: Seems to be fine on the My Team links - but alternates as above on the transfers and latest points pages if that helps.

edit2: Actually the problem was probably down to me. I had not uninstalled the previous script and now that I have all seems to be fine. Cracking job!

Hmm...I've uninstalled it and closed FPL but it still doesn't work after a reinstall even though the other new addition does work.

Is it working for everyone else?

Not for me, nor the first 2 improvements. I get a scroll bar on the profile window but then it disappears.

Everything else looks great - particularly like the options in the transfers screen.

For the record Razza, the correct page(s) are included in the script so it's not that. I've only got the one FPL script installed too.
