Fancy getting involved - see first post for links.

Not sure what it's all about - just ask - or visit the threads from last year to see how the games worked (link to lasts years side-game almanac also in 1st post).

Lots to choose from, and more at later times in the season. Some require you to join a league others don't.

Very little effort on your part is required - the game Admins do all work - but involvement in the various threads is encouraged - so don't be shy

Note: Some games close before or at the season start so if you want in on the 5-A-Side (including the 5AS Head-to-Head), for example, new Team creation and existing team recruitment closes a week before kick-off so get your skates on.

You didn't check very well then - last years 1st round was GW3&4 with GW1&2 used as pre-qualifying.

Pre-qualifying, if I remember right, grouped all those in the main league who hadn't declared themselves in the who-are-you thread and the top X of them made up the numbers in R1.

X was such that the total squads in R1 was a round number for a knock-out comp - ie if there were 300 in the league and 100 of those were unknown then 200 were automatically in R1 and the top 56 of the 100 unknowns over GW1&2 made it through also - giving 256 for R1.

(how this all works was decided closer to the time and may/may not work exactly the same for you - all depends on the various numbers and how you want to do it).

So here it is, the FISO regional leagues... you're chance to show off that your the best in your region, and better still, your chance to help your region be the best in the world! Get those old rivalries settled for once and for all and show everyone who's boss.

This is one of the simplest sidegames to get involved in... simply add yourself to one of the leagues below and the rest is taken care of for you. You don't even need to put your name down on the thread or add a link to your team... it's so simple there's no reason not to get involved.

Would you all be so kind and advertise in private messages (!!!) the existence of the Virgins League to your friends freshly brought into the FPL/FISO fold. We need more virgins and if we don't satisfy the gods at the altar with fresh virgins, none of us will make it above the 10,000 rank this year.

The league is called FISO Virgins Heat and the required code is: 1634-34102

WE NEED AT LEAST 72 OF THEM !
