After a miserable season - as per usual - I am not really good at this game - better of my two teams is 426th, managed to tie for first this week, but was 2nd on the BR tie-break rule. So still haven't won anything in about 5 years of playing this game. Still, maybe next year...

Hang in there Pincher, the season isn't over yet!

I see you've got a full complement of players this week, and by my calculations you are pretty assured of 6 playing next week too, there's hope yet of that weekly prize.

Same here, Pincher. I think my first season remains my best ever (4 years ago?), and it will most likely stay that way because it is time to accept I am not cut out for fantasy games! Missing this weeks early deadline may go some way to explaining why I am so bad

Thanks for the positive wishes. Finished 384th finally - will have to set a goal of getting into the top 100 next year - lot of strong competition on here though. I do enjoy it so I will be back - will have to decide whether to enter just the regulation one team, or two to cover the possible Tiger resurgence - a waste of the extra 15-quid this year, but he will have to come back sometime.

I haven't won much in the last few years in terms of official OFL stuff - got lucky on the head-2-head game last year one week, but that was just a lottery. Otherwise it has just been cash from AKNel's side league.

Funnily enough, the better I've got at this (evidenced by 4th last year, 23rd & 29th this year) the less officially successful I've been - previously I've had a couple of weeklies and won the USPGA week a while back. I often see languishing teams pull off weeklies late on - when active managers have transferred out the players who bounceback with good results. Maybe use the 2nd team for a motley crew! (saying that, I did just that this year - and it was mince   )

Sadly another one that got away - but I think anyone top 30 will have their stories.
WESTWOOD be KAYMER sadly didnt have either for much of the good times they had and even the run in where i had good transfers in hand didnt really help.

McGrane left out / Westwood removed / Molinari removed / Harrington in and a few left on the bench - Winner may still have been gone but 2nd was definitely plausible and leaves me with hope that some time I may get it right 9Although there is a pattern forming in my ability to get it wrong when it counts).

I really have struggled on double & treble point weeks in general and ins psite of many transfers I had a very poor Fall campaign as many did 9Although mine was through uselessness rather than lack of players) - I had a full team throughout the season!

1 weekly win paid the bills and a countback 20th mean I go away and start planning the masters...........and teh weeks that follow and have me chasing my tail.

Going for 8 teams next year and hoping to notice if and when the fall comp starts to add another
