Shall I just not waste my time any more? I guess I could just wait for the Fall Finish to start, but I would even be at a disadvantage for that having my team set up already, and two transfers used.

Happens to me season after season. Masters disaster followed by slow recovery. 1000th to 200th usually. Unless that appeals, give up and wait for the cup or end comps for some fun. Shame really, as it's an excellent game.

There's a long way to go, with lots of double and triple points events to come. Pleanty of time to catch up.
On top of that there's the knockout competition to look forward to.

And there's still those weekly prizes up for grabs!

It's in 1845th place after scoring -4 last week

Comment about a moth-balled team not being set up for the fall finish is a good one, so I'll be soldiering on, to see what sort of improvement I can muster.

And you never know, a weekly win may come along

As it stands I'm only 282 points off a top 10 place, which is a good score in a x3 week. If I can whittle that gap down to less than 200 points by the US Open, I'll be pleased.

Then I need to nail my Congressional selections

IF, you have plenty of teams - then manage it on a week to week basis but don't use any further transfers until the fall finish starts - 2 transfers burnt at that stage is negligible

Well it means you can be a bit more adventurous with your choices, but it is a seriously frustrating element of a great game that you can be so far back after a couple of weeks without some kind of feature where you can pick up points quickly. I still like my caddy card idea where you can nominate say six players throughout the season who, for that week only, can score you double or triple points. If you choose double it uses one card, if you choose triple it uses two.

It is a single-entry. Ironically I noticed I had Schwartzel for the Masters last year, but never considered him this year - don't know what I was thinking one time nor the other! I guess I will soldier on, but realistically, I have almost no chance of winning. Might get lucky with a weekly I suppose - fingers crossed.

The caddy card idea is an interesting one Jonathon - have to restrict it to single-points events I guess, and you would only ever use if for the double - wouldn't be worth wasting two for the triple.

Toffee - the thing is, that even if I managed to score 300 on one of the big ones, it is almost certain that one of the guys ahead of me would do the same, as teams are going to be fairly similar in general.

300 points not an issue at all at this stage - just got to do well for a period - making top 100 point scoring for 3 or 4 weeks. You willf ind yourself easing up the table. I think you need to act now if interested though.........OOPs
