FISO TFF £25 League 2011/12 - admin and entry details

Rules:
Hello and welcome to Season Seven of FISO's TFF25 super league.

As usual, the contest is based on the Telegraph’s main Premier League game:

- the new season begins at 1500 BST on Saturday 13 August 2011
- anyone who has played previously is invited to do so again
- all FISO members are welcome, however recently-joined members will need to be verified – this usually means making a small introduction about yourself on the new members thread: new-forum-members-let-s-be-avenue-t1544.html
- entry is restricted to one team per person
- super league fee is a non-inflationary £25
- league PIN will be distributed by Private Message when funds clear – please do not distribute to anyone else
- team name should include FISO ID if person's name isn't obvious, eg: Beerfuelled FISO25
- ensure that you set your team to ‘Private’ so that no-one else in the league can see your team
- funds will be fully redistributed at end of season
- league champion will receive £1,000 minimum subject to sufficient entries
- remaining awards will be based on last year's prize structure, again depending on number of entries
- It is intended to purchase Premium Bonds with the entry fees as per last season with the same rules regarding any prize distribution to remain

Methods of payment and payment deadlines

IN ORDER OF PREFERENCE:

1. Online bank transfer - I will PM my bank details to those who want to pay by this method. PAYMENT DEADLINE FOR ONLINE BANK TRANSFERS: Close of banking Friday 12th August (this deadline is for when the money must be credited to my account, not the date you send it - you should allow at least 3-4 working days for transfer to be completed although most banks are now signed up to the faster payments scheme so it should clear in a couple of hours or even immediately)

2. PayPal – Click on the email link at the bottom of any of my posts for my PayPal email address. Send money using the ‘Personal’ and ‘Gift’ options. No PayPal fee is due if the funding comes from your bank account or sufficient funds that are already in your PayPal account. If you are funding the PayPal payment via a credit or debit card than you will have to pay any fees that may be due on this (please check for any due fees before you send). I would be grateful if any fee that may be payable is done so at the sender’s (ie your) end. If for any reason I end up being charged the fee, then it will be the sender’s duty to refund it (and any further fees) prior to the entry deadline below else I will refund the £25 less the fee(s). PAYMENT DEADLINE FOR PAYPAL PAYMENTS: 10:00pm Friday 12th August

3. Cheque – Details will be PM’d to those who want to pay by this method. PAYMENT DEADLINE FOR CHEQUE PAYMENTS: received by last post on Thursday 4th August. This allows sufficient time for clearance and for me to get to the bank.

4. Cash– this will be entirely at your own risk. I will not be held responsible for any cash that goes missing in the post. If you send via recorded or registered post, you should do so as early as possible as I cannot guarantee that I can get to the sorting office to pick anything up should I miss the delivery particularly in the week leading up to the 14th Aug. Although I will make every effort to make sure cash entries are duly sorted I won’t set a deadline for this method and I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SUPERLEAGUE ENTRY IF I CANNOT RETREIVE ANY RECORDED / REGISTERED DELIVERIES IN TIME. Any such fee will be returned ASAP after the 14th August

Any fees received outside of the above deadlines, or any fees which cannot be referenced to your FISO username before the above deadlines will be refunded and Superleague entry refused.

In all payment cases, please ensure that you include your FISO username for reference - ALSO PLEASE ENSURE YOU SEND YOUR PAYMENT AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE TO HELP ME OUT WITH THE ADMIN - IT WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED!

Superleague details, side comps, prize structure and Premium Bond details

Superleague entry deadline (NOT the payment deadline, see above post)
1500 BST on Saturday 14 August 2011 – it would be appreciated if you could enter your team as early as possible for admin purposes. The transfer amnesty is available up to first KO. Remember to make sure your team selection option is set to ‘Private’

Side competitions
Cup and 2nd half competitions to begin in January 2012

Last season there were a total of 81 entrants and the prize structure was as follows:
1st = £1000
2nd = £450
3rd = £200
4th = £100
5th = £75
6th = £50
7th = £25

Cup winner = £50
2nd half winner = £50
2nd half runner up = £25

Any tied prizes will be split equally

If the superleague finishes top overall then the £1,000 cash award will be shared evenly by the top five managers, ie £200 each.

If I win any of the Chairman's prizes, I will donate 10% of any prize money towards next season's FISO 25's prize fund

For this season, I’ll be donating a £50 prize to the superleague’s Golden Boot winner. If by some quirk of fate this happens to be me, then the £50 will go to next highest scorer

Premium Bonds details
It is intended to purchase Premium Bonds with the prize pool ASAP after the 14th August 2011. Any prize totalling up to £500 will be added to the following season's TFF25 awards pool

A win of between GBP 500 and 2,000 will be used to cover (part or full) entry to TFF25 in the following season for all returning managers.

Any total above £2,000 will be distributed equally to all current managers at the end of the season.

mmmmmm, perhaps for the benefit of getting more entrants I should have held back on my declaration of entry, oh well it will have to be seen as a challenge, however unlikely, for the rest.
