It's not entirely your fault the dude abides. Half the forum users do the same, which is why it's become my pet hate. It has it's uses though,as in this instance.
The blame really lies with whoever designed this forum,as they should've put the quote and reply buttons the other way round.

It's even worse if you're a mod, because if you hit someone else's Edit button instead of their Quote button, you get access to their post. You then think you're replying to that post when in fact you're editing it! Then you get a big surprise when you submit the post and realise what you've done . (Fortunately, the Edit access means you can immediately go back and undo what you just did.)

If anybody hasn't captained him this week could they please take a look at the menu to choose their last meal and which brand of cigarettes would you like for your last smoke because you will be shot at dawn.

This could be interesting, very interesting. Though perhaps less interesting for bagpuss...

Are you sure our team lost? Our PM scored 25 or so points more than from the last table results, which multiplied by 5 alone is enough points to catch up with other 3 teams. I think all teams will be inside 20 points difference.

Lord Sugar will see you now...

"Morning everyone."

"Well, it was one of those rare moments in life where there really is only one right answer, in this case Robin Van Persie with the armband. The vast majority spotted that a mile off, but it wasn't so obvious for a couple of you."

"topcat24, you had the Dutchmen, and yet you captained a lackluster David Silva. That might have cost you big time in another week. And Dyer ahead of McClean for a starting place? Sort it out."

"I think we all know who's going, don't we, bagpuss? I suppose it's a credit to you that you've survived this long without RVP, but it simply can't carry on, I can't overlook it any longer. Even 22 with captain Aguero isn't enough I'm afraid. I'm not motivated to continue this experiment in the alternative."

"And now, Karren can reveal the scores."

"What I want to see at this stage is an ability from Project Managers to get the most out of their team. baganboy is doing that, and as a result Change have won this task. bulgarche for the second week running produced the goods for baganboy - bringing in RVP (belatedly), Bale and Oxlade-Chamberlain, as well as hanging on to Rooney, creates an impressive portfolio."

"The prize, and I hear this has been much desired, is a visit from Wanda the Massage Therapist. It was her you wanted, yes?"

"The other three teams were quite close. Zephyr were pegged by bagpuss' poor showing, whilst Shamstrad had a consistent, if unspectacular showing. The losers, however, have only themselves to blame. I'm looking at you, Hotspur."

"In particular, I'm actually looking at you, Taff Murray. You're the only current PM not to have won a task, and yet I'm constantly hearing that you're the front runner. DON'T BE MISUNDERSTOOD, one bad week and you're out as quick as those before you. I think you have Carroll and Suarez to thank for your continued participation, rather than anyone you've selected."

"Abumies, you saved Zephyr from being a total bloody disaster last week, but that doesn't mean you can take your eyes off the ball the next week. Mignolet on the bench was a waste, Benoit Assou-Ekotto even more so - Jonny Evans at the Bridge was a dreadful lack of judgement."

"Still, that wasn't quite as bad as stuboy's performance. BAE was bench-warming for you, I just don't understand it, especially when Taff Murray did otherwise?! Huth seeing red was unfortunate, but the thing is, I need lucky people as well, and I think you make you're own luck. It might do it for you, but not for me."

Ms. Brady will see you now...

Image

Evening everyone, hope you have been keeping warm this week, because you won't want to be frozen out in the sixth Gameweek of the Television Stage.

There will be four teams again, with the same PM's... but Richt has finally changed teams for the first time through merit, joining Change this week. With the competition now down to 26 applicants, from the original 55, this marks the half-way point in terms of eliminations. Hotspur and Shamstrad will have a team of 6, whilst Change and Zephyr will be comprised of 7. Therefore, Taff Murray and Brightwater will have their scores multiplied by 7, and baganboy and Calvin1979's scores will be multiplied by 6:

Nick's observations: As this is the only week in which any of the PMs' scores will be multiplied by 7, Taff Murray and Brightwater will be under a lot of pressure to perform, especially Taff who is still yet to taste victory despite being the top candidate in points. Change will be confident of completing a hat-trick of wins - baganboy is joined once again by bulgarche.

Poor showing, could only manage a solitary assist and even then it's from Dempsey who everyone has. Need a 0-0 between Wolves and WBA tomorrow please.

Plus plenty of bonuses I suspect with a score like that. Well done.

Wish you were on my team as I am under pressure to win a round. Lord Sugar is turning the screw on me.

Looks like I'm up against it to survive....

(I should say at this point that I have to stay in the league until the end, but I would no longer be in the competition).

Nah, you'll probably get 2 BPs from Valencia (whom I left on the bench) while I'll probably get none and, hence, leave the competition.

Maybe for the better, I've had enough; complete disaster this week, 0 pts in City 16, bottom rock (or close by) in Fiso X League (both normal and H2H). I've had ups and downs, but this is too much, I don't need this. In two weeks time I'm leaving for honeymoon and won't be looking and FPL for 3 GWs, thank God.

Lord Sugar will see you now...

"Morning everyone."

"I'm not happy, not happy with what I've seen and heard."

"There have been far too many of you that have barely made the average score, if that. Pull your bloody finger out, the lot of ya!"

"Sir_john_grimes, it seems to me that you've been happy to rely on recent success - something I'm seeing too much of this week. A Swansea double at the back turned out to be a bad move."

"You made the same mistake, Fingerpass, although you at least found room for David Silva."

"But I'm shocked to have to say that it'll be Tacalabala who showed an truely unacceptable lack of judgement. Kyle Walker saved you from utter embarrassment at the back, but not selecting Silva is mystifying to me. But the biggest error is clear for all to see: Adebayor  Aguero."

Tacalabala

You're fired!

"Here are the scores, not very impressive are they?"

"Congratulations to Taff Murray who guided Hotspur to a win, his first as a PM, and despite Tacalabala's slumbering performance. Although not spectacular, Hotspur were on the whole very consistent. marxist was a rock for the team, with Lescott's 15pts a real highlight."

"As a reward, you'll be delivering Asda's 7p Valentine's Day cards all day. Hard hats are provided."

"Karen's informed me that Zephyr, and in particular PM Calvin1979, have marc09 and WHATEVER to thank for saving them for possible defeat. marc09 hit on the magic combination: Adebayor + armband = 42pts. Nice."

"Unfortunately, one team badly let me down this week - Shamstrad."

"Flyman and the aforementioned Fingerpass were poor and added little to the team, but ultimately I feel that it will have to be the PM, Brightwater, who has to take the bulk of the blame here. I'm truely shocked, given your performance up to this week, as well as your CV, that you so badly dropped the baton this week. You must know that you had the points on the bench to at least save yourself, but they went wasted and I'm afraid, you have pay the price."

Brightwater

Image

You're fired!

Brightwater is fired by virtue of having a score lower than the GW average, an extra danger for PM's. Tacalabala will continue to remain in the league on FPL, but will no longer be in contention to win.

It's a fair cop Lord Sugar. I wasn't on top of my game this week. Too many players took their eye off the ball and didn't step up to the plate. Sorensen was unlucky, but didn't think outside the box.

I will retreat to my villa http://www.holiday-rentals.co.uk/p87023 with my Elephant prize iPod for some strategy and due diligence on my Orange rivals. I'm outa here.
