Pokerstars have decreed that our first season has finished and I can reveal our seasonal champion :

Numbers have drifted away but come on guys lets keep at it , new season and all that :

Tournament set up for April 14 at 9pm

Club members can register for Fiso Home Games now.

If you are not a member already, to join :

Login at Pokerstars
Open the main poker lobby, then click on the Home Games tab
- Click the 'Join a Poker Club' button
- Enter my Club ID number: 28573
- Enter my Invitation Code: usual tournament password - PM me or any of the regulars if you'd like to play but don't know the password or you wont be able to join in the fun.

Format will be :

No limit texas holdem
Buy in - $5 + $0.50
Starting Stack - 1500 chips
Blinds - Increase every 10 mins

I haven't been able to play for months but from the middle of next week I'll hopefully have a decent internet connection - ie one that doesn't drop out every 5 mins or so - so poker will be back on my agenda

That could go one of two ways depending on how im running at the tables... but with no car for a change Im sure I will be knocking back a few lagers, cant have you all thinking that I never get stuck in to the bar

It seemed to die off a few months ago, unless the boys moved it somewhere else and didn't tell me. :oops:

It seems to do better in the winter when people are huddled up in their houses, sheltered from the dark and the cold. Im sure we will be back on in a couple of months.

That said, the old phrase applies... build it and they will come. It might not be a league match, but you can always try to round up some troops for a random game sometime.
