Hi all

Not sure if this thread will generate much banter but I did promise to post the league tables. Until I work out a better way of presenting this I'll just post the leagues side by side.

Cheers

Still unbeaten in group D, but only after a hard fought draw with Bengaluru Boys.

I can see these leagues being very competitive!

Good spot!!!

I'll have to remove him from one of the leagues. Spinynorman is the admin for league C so I'll ask him to sort it out. League D is small enough as it is!!!

Cheers

You can't remove teams from H2H leagues once the season has started. You can't delete a H2H league either (not that we'd want to here, just FYI).

I've finally managed a win at the 3rd time of asking - it's always nice to beat the comp's admin ;)

Meaning? Group D have a greater range of good and poor maybe, but being the smallest group it should be have the closest rivalries.

Or it could be that teams only have to beat the weekly average more often?

A cheeky 69 - 68 win for me this week.

A very jammy late-given Young assist proved to be the difference. I went out last night thinking I had lost and came back drunk to find I had won! Result! :D

Is that assist likely to get taken off or is it too late now? I guess they (FPL) can't change any points once the leagues have been updated. Or can they? Hangover fogging mind. :?

Top of the table (ish) clash with The Pearl Formation next week. 8-)

Spawny get. I went out thinking I had won and came back drunk to find I had lost.

You pesky Totem Poles are seriously getting on my wick after your narrow 5AS win and now this travesty.

Here's the update for GW5... I've added each league's overall ranking. I'm not sure how they work this out because I would have thought League D would be the highest. :?

Finally moving up the table with a crackin win over bossdrum who is absolutely flying right now. Didn't expect that one.

Got my one 5AS team mate (sgB) this weekend, which is a shame, as no mercy will be shown  I'll most likely get beat anyway, as he's in much better form.

I have no idea how those rankings for C and D have been worked out. I think what they do is take the average scores of the best 5, ignoring the points system. This would give A an average of 303.6 and B 307 - which looks right as the league at the bottom of the League of Leagues also has an average of 307, so 51st for League B looks spot on. However, they have C + D practically last (there's only 175,523 leagues in total).

I think they've ballsed something up as the main H2H league has an even higher average than the others, and I'm sure it was in the top 50 when I looked a while ago. I shall email them!
