When will the new season start for the predictions? Just been on it and the first week of the new Premier League season comes under week 43. Also will the GOALS record under all of out posts be wiped out for the new season?

We're working with the new developers on ironing out a few bugs at the moment.

Hopefully it will be up and running for the first games of the season, and yes - your scores from last season will be cleared!

Still seems to be a bit buggy.

Week 1 picks are there but it is defaulting to Week 41!

As you've noticed, we're still working on sorting things out....

We are waiting for a bit more work to be done by the developers and will push for entries when that's completed successfully.


The fixtures for the first three weeks are there and can be predicted. I did week one a couple of weeks ago and despite some mods being made, they are still there.
Best to keep an eye on things though, just in case something does effect fixtures entered.





The week 41 thing should be easy to fix, thanks for mentioning it. Simply select week 1, 2 etc if you want to predict in the meantime?

Regards the layout issue, it's fine on my home PC but was as you say on the one I use at work.
Are you using compatibility view in IE? That seemed to sort things out for me, and we don't have it at work, so could be the issue?




Please be patient - less than a month ago there wasn't looking like being a game at all, so we are getting there at last!

Minileagues - Are the old ones still going to exist or be deleted?

Is it safe to start new ones?

All getting a bit close to season start and there doesn't seem to be any 'promotion' of the game going on????

Developer says it's now sorted and that the Leaderboard will automatically clear when results for the new week 1 are entered.

I wasn't sure so I started mine afresh!

Until the main problem is fixed could one of the Daves or honourary-Dave-admin please run the weekly 'fix' for "week 43" to display the minileague tables properly.

Yes but the weekly minileague tables are now fine and that means I've been able to announce the Early Doors Cup Round 1 results.

When I say 'fine' thats if you realise last week was actually Week 43 of course.......

Set 4 appears to have a stray 'Blackburn v Everton' at the end?

Might be to do with the bug/weird way it displays for me but I doubt it.

They will be and always are, until after the last game of the set.

The database can only be fixed after all games have been played.

Aye possibly fella. Not usually on at this time.

There seems to be a minor bug on the results page. If you bring up the results page and click the "show" button, expecting it to bring up the current gameweek results, it shows some spurious set of games from last year with many teams listed as "database failure".

I could not see the Newcastle v Stoke game listed under predictions or results today so can't find out what I predicted - is that because it kicks off soon or was it never there?

I think we can live with the first part - just click on the week number to get the correct games.


Yes to part two - the game disappears from all views an hour before kick off. You will be able to see how you predicted just after 4.15pm (The ko is 4.10, but in Goals! we work to the nearest quarter! )
