I'll log on and check the team news then buy Graham's pick and my 'Bill' Nicholson (unless somebody convinces me it is a stupid idea) before k.o.

Right, I've bitten the bullet and plumped for Billy Sharp to replace Robert Earnshaw, leaving Murf a few extra pennies to play with. Many thanks to whichever of Chuck or Murf ends up making the transfer!

Wow, nice going but with 1.8m in hand surely a midfielder upgrade to a striker is surely what you need?

Surman  Cormack for example?

Plus becoming clear that a Reading striker is required somehow

Well done to Mighty Reds for being the only player to get more than 2 points!
The team is still hanging around the mid 1,000's but now the team is taking shape with some good transfer we should hopefully move up the table slowly,

Bit annoying that Surman lost pen duty last night.

Might consider a transfer soon - he's steady but he's not gonna propell us forward - research to follow....

A good candidate to be upgraded to a star forward?

We have the cash, seems silly not to spend (most of) it. Maybe I should have done it last night with my Hammill replacement.

Limit a replacement to 1.8m and we can afford Doyle up front for Surman

Which part-timer is managing Demerit :?:

If Chuck goes to £1.8m for his replacement then Doyle gets green light.

If he does not Mc Cormack gets the green light.

If you reduce your budget by 0.2m then we can afford Doyle and Alexander (from above posts)

Sorry for being stupid! Works hectic and I attempted to fit fiso and ff in why being snowed under! So...

Demerit to Alexander
Surman to Doyle
Kighty to Bodde

Think that's right!

Why's Surman going? Though he was doing quite well? Takes pens aswel I think. A few Saints on here can give us the lowdown?

I have him and am a saints fan - McGoldrick took over pen duty the other night for some reason and whilst solid he is not going to push us inwards and upwards - Doyle has the potential to score more highly and is in a team much more likely to be scoring (+he's a striker compared to midfielder).

With so many transfers thought it a gamble worth taking.
