2nd match should be ours I feel. We are 7 points ahead (with Lee's points) and if Rooney plays we win the tie. If Rooney does not play then they can only make up 2 points by getting Ferguson as automatic sub. I can't see the Newcastle players doing much but these things happen. A CS for Newcastle and a Carrol goal we lose.
I think we will sneak the 3rd game to give us a 4-1 opening day victory

3-2 for the 'Poles. Unlucky Missing Links. We were there for the taking. It's fair to say neither team played very well, We will play better and lose so to come away with all 3 points in the opening fixture is a bonus.

The Bad Boys came out of the Pub for a neighborhood friendly at the park, but I think they had been inside too long, as the bright sun blurred their vision and they keep shooting at the wrong goal. The Vipers slithered away with a 4-1 win, but the match was much closer than the final score as three of the contests were decided by 2 points or less.
