Thanks for carrying me to where we are lads. My start to the season has been as bad as ever and I know I must do better as my anchor man roll has been very poorly performed. I have a feeling that mrdrj will feel my anger and be humiliated this coming weekend... and I shall not apologise

Well this should be fun...
Mater Race's Stay Classy & I overlap on only four players. Evans should play and so be a wash; we both have Chamaka and so may get to see our first bench players battle, and although we both have Bale & Drogba, I have captained Droba while Classy has Bale. Game On!

A little bit close!!

I think we can pull this off with a 3-2 win and we look the slight favourites. It is a team game alva and we are all going to lose matches. The good thing is we have quite a good set of teams and if one scores lower then the rest can score well and give the team a victory.

Last time I looked after the Man Utd game i was on 39 so a bit surprised to see my score at 50!

Irritants and D&G&A (what sort of a name is that?) are having a close one. I think we have two in the bag, without looking at the teams

Could be decided my me vs Barry, somehow we are both top-scorers for our teams on 60 points, but it is N'Gog (Givet as 1st sub) vs Jaask and Richards (with Carroll as first sub)

I captained Rooney! :D 8-)

Might even be able to catch the 3 points I'm behind to get my first draw of the season!

If Bolton and Birmingham go easy on each other, things could really start to look up!

This IS going to be close. And with all four of today's games kicking off within an hour of each other, it will be decided pretty quickly too.

A Sunderland goal is what we need, along with a Bolton clean sheet. That might be a big Jaask, but we deserve our Jussi rewards, and to see their Hart broken.

morning all, would just tlike to point out I have a goal via Rooney, don't know if Lamps missed pen affects that? or if Suzy scores a goal we both go back to 0?

Me wrong! The Bolton v Birmingham match is an early kick-off at 13:30 GMT.

I don't understand.

What I do understand is that a Bolton goal won't be good news for your opponent's defensive line.

well in the little grid of scores versus our opponents it has goals scored, Suzy has 0 and I have 0 but Rooney scored for me (I assume this is for draw puposes?) just wondered why it doesnt say that I have 1 goal?

Chuck, I think you're confusing real goals with 5AS goals.

The current head to head score between you and Suzy is 0-0, because you have the same number of points. It has nothing to do with the number of actual goals scored by players in your FPL team.

Rather than saying 'goals' the header in that column would be better saying 'current standings' or '5AS score', or something like that.

Basically, according to the grid your 5AS team is up in 2, down in 2 and drawing in one game. i.e overall it's a draw so far. If it ends as a draw then both 5AS teams score 1 point.

Sorry if I didn't explain that well. I'm pretty hungover..

Jaask just got sent off so that leaves us with an uphill task, to put it mildly. To make things worse, Petrov is making way for the substitute keeper.
