About the KBs vs Incredibles situation. We all know how the Queen Bee is when it comes to 5AS. I knew what they'd do before I saw their teams. And when I saw them, it was no surprise. It was the wrong week for us to face them, but we are by far the team with the bigger total score and you can say we've been unlucky not to be frst by now, but plenty of time to go.

shoulda done something about it and try to beat us then shouldn't ya

i was surprised when i found out last year the transfers didn't count towards the 5AS total, but it now means if i wanna use it to my advantage i do.

seeing as i'm not gonna be winning FPL anytime soon and there are no monthly prizes etc, no real reason why a 4 or 8pt hit will bother me so pretty much every week i take a hit. plus i can't help myself as i've got an itchy transfer finger :?

aside from that tho, we all took great pleasure in decimating The Incredibles who have taken this humiliation in great spirit, and i'm sure they'll come back fighting

and the Bees will enjoy being top of the table for however long we stay there, which will probably be for the rest of the season 8-)

Yeah yeah, gloat as much as you can, Marky. But well played indeed. It is well within the rules (currently  ) and you utilized it extremely well. Credit where it's due.

My personal landmark is top 5 for India, and considering nearly 45,000 from my country play this game (only 2 are in FISO though), it is a stiff target. In the current format, we are indeed 'handicapped', if you can say so, in the substitution front, with Malefice who I am sure believes he can indeed win FPL sometime, and Le Red too going by his current rank can keep such hopes. I too have an overall personal landmark as mentioned earlier. I believe both BigJonS and Romyn are part of other leagues where the overall score matters. So there.

Well done to my fellow KB's for giving it their all to reclaim top position,,, The weather condition wasn't the best to stage such a 6-pointer,,, But credit to the Bees, they rose to the challenge and gave it their best shot, and they deserved the win.

It woulda been naive of the Inc's to think that we're gonna sit back and field 4-6 players only, and accept a pile of zero's given that we play a more adventurous game than them,,, But I assure them that those point hits were taken to beat the big freeze and not them  :D

Due to the nature of the fixtures (to which I know you disapprove so let's not go there) 1st and 2nd won't meet again so unless you plan on coming in 4th after the first 27 weeks .... :P

Ah, priorities....

Someday, I will write a book on how fantasy football took over my life.

And this is not said entirely in jest.

looks like you've been fed hops instead of oats Matt

i'm on 75pts, not 60. hope that's the only points error tho, cos it looks like it would take a minor miracle for you, Nigel & Saint to have those leads overturned if they're the right points.

(insert praying emoticon here)

Appologies for the error! I'll update after tonights scores where hopefully everything should be a bit clearer.

edit: Here's my updated table. Hopefully not too many errors this time!

A good win for ManU with the right players is needed for a ML turnaround.

One of the features which makes this 5AS H2H competition so interesting is how closely matched opponents often are.

This week for example, last season's Fiso FPL Champion, and 3rd in the world, atx1303 playing as No3 seed for the Red Arrows faced the renowned Krispy, captain of the 4N Legion team.

Incredibly, despite now having played for over half the season, their net points totals were EXACTLY the same, going into this contest  There was also only a single point separating myself and my opposite number. Isn't that amazing ?

Thus the stage was set for a titanic battle, and so it proved to be, with RamR, the 4NLegion 's top seed even managing to overcome the present Fiso league leader (going into this week), minigokou.

Krispy then showed his leadership skills in an attempt to drive his team to a famous victory, by narrowly defeating the Arrow's atx1303, who's been in good form recently.

Alas their efforts were still not enough, the Red Arrows finally emerging 3-2 winners after a tough battle, and are now preparing for their meeting with the Stokies next week.

Looks like a 3-2 victory for us Poles against the Dark Horses. Couple of the mammoth clashes were decided by 1 and 3 point differences i think. Very close!
