On reflection I think we overcompensated when the competitions organisers asked the Zombies to take it easy this year.

It was welcome news when Phantomscythe lifted the win embargo last week.

I would be suprised if we lose again.

The reason for the puzzling silence this past week from the frequently noisy Camel,Goat,MM & Nigel as well as the absence of the Killer Bees' usual enormous graphic results display,is now apparent

Hang on a minute, we The Experts, lost 3-2 again. Is this game fixed or what?

We seem to take it in turns to have a bad week. This week the bottom two teams (that includes me 8-) ) won their games but the better teams lost. :?

Lets hope we can do better against the Stokies next week.

Nothing different for me personally, I lost yet again!
Although the other difference this week was the rest of the bees not covering for me.

I've been quietly cursing my place at the bottom of the Rogues table until I noticed I'm the highest scoring 5th-placed player in any team. That cheered me up! :) As did the 5-0 hammering of D&G&A! Got to keep the wins coming to make up for the disastrous loss last week to one of our title rivals. We're not out of it yet!

I think that's part of your success story this season, as your seeding means that your team only needs two more wins from the other 4 ties to claim the 3 points,,, But you guys always fall short when it comes to top clashes,,, Pretty much like Arsenal this season!!

It's funny that the Inc's don't seem able to capitalize on our slips, as they fall short as well whenever we drop some points,,, But it's panning out to be a good 4-horse race for the title,,, So, good luck all. 8-)

i've done my transfers like you wanted.... Rooney > Kanu & Evra > da Silva. the Dark Horses won't know what hit em.

are you still thinking about captaining Zabaletta?

I am sure Grob will be on here shortly to report how his team got on. For those that can't wait until then...they lost

On Saturday when I saw my opponent had captained Lampard and was looking at a big haul I was sure I was doomed!
Captain Fab rescued me.
Was a really close match all the way throughout the weekend and could have gone either way.

"The Nuts cracked" might have made a decent headline.....but it's not to be,as through some admirable crafty sleight-of-hand,their anchorman and 5th seed pretended to be unaware that AVL,WHM & Hull all had no game,or that Gary Cahill was injured, but evidently knew this all along. It was just a smoke screen. Well played,The Nuts :D

Cheers Krispy! Good to see the BadBoys getting back to winning ways! Thought we might have to change our name to "The chaps that skip the queue sometimes but then feel guilty about it and apologise to everyone before moving to the back of said queue thus proving they are not so bad at all but maybe just a little self centred and aloof".....................

What do you think? It could play havoc with the spreadsheets!

Would you Adam and Eve it, the Experts lost 3-2 yet again :( . Well played the Stokies, I think next year maybe we need a team name change, to the Nearly Won  .

Next up a very hard game against the Red Arrows, whose worst player has a higher score than 4 of the Experts. So if we get anything out of this game, we will have done well indeed.

We won't be underestimating the Experts, like one or two of my team did of their opponents in the Nuts last week, that's for sure

An important week this one is, being the final week I believe of the first phase of this season's competition.

It doesn't matter who finishes top of the table at this stage,it's just a "stop over" before the final stretch - except that the league positions after this GW will determine who plays who from GW30 on,so it will be interesting to see how it all pans out.

True. But a 4 point lead helps 8-)

(or a 1 point one if the unthinkable happens...)

Well done the Experts,on notching up a 3-2 win over the Red Arrows, whose spokesman tonight denied that it was a deliberate tactical defeat planned by the Arrows with their Phase 1 finishing league position in mind !

5-0 to the Bees - we're buzzing

Incredibles squeaked a 3-2 win. Got all excited when i saw the top 2 had lost, but the bottom 3 came thru for em.

I'd say it was a two horse race, but being a Gooner I know that these gaps can soon close 8-)

Your not wrong, attendances have dwindled as a result of this terrible run, the club is fighting administration. There's still the threat of points deduction for Dazbowskigate earlier in the season. If things don't change soon then the entire club could be Numptified
