Unfortunately,if you take a look at the captain's declaration thread you'll see they've been caught with 6 in their team already.

If they hadn't been caught,they might have tried to squeeze yourself and a few more into their team,but they'd never get away with it now,because their captain is under observation.

p.s. is that chap owenclass who posted just before your original post related to you by any chance ?

I assume with so many late entries and a total of less than 38 that there are no 5AS fixtures this week? If a schedule is posted somewhere, please direct me to it.

It will start this week.

The weeks that will have no fixtures are 12 (short week), 20 & 21 (28th Dec & 1st Jan).

(Had the fixtures all sorted but then noticed a couple of hours ago that the software I used to do it didn't alternate Home/Away properly over the season so I had to start all over again using something else . Hopefully it will be sorted by the deadline).

Bad luck Romyn. Thanks for sorting this out and getting us to this stage (with a nod to grob for his efforts too). It's going to be a busy season.

Grob please don't cast aspersions against the Killer Bees, those 6th players just like to have a bit of a rest in their league and enjoy some honey flavored hospitality before being on their merry way. Nothing suspicious or dodgy about that in the slightest.

Looks like a strong start for the assassins. I have no idea who we are playing yet but they'll be in for a tough challenge!!

The fixtures should be up soon - I sent them to Krispy this morning but I know he has been having internet connection issues recently so maybe there is a delay due to that?

I realise i may have missed the season, been busy busy busy, but Im putting my team out there for recruitment this year. Would love to get involved in 5AS- seems to be a great comp.

Sorry you missed the start.

Only way to be involved now is to make your availability known, as you have done, and wait and see if someone is numptied by their captain and a replacement is sought.

For the record if anyone gets the numpty treatment and a team's looking for an emergency replacement then consider me available. It's my first FPL season so you'd be signing an unproven player who started in GW 2, but you know, I've got a lot of enthusiasm to make up for my newbieness.

Count me in too for the numpty replacement list - also a beginner but enjoying some of that beginner's luck right now

Didn't find out about FISO until GW7, so missed out on this.. Would be willing to play as a replacement if needed.

My team is doing decent so far this year, and last year finished 600k-ish I think, but didn't start that season until GW7.

I'm positive I had put my name down here - well obviously not - so I'm offering my services if anyone needs me......

I don't think you can join mid season....

People occasionally drop out,for a variety of reasons - (some just can't stand the stress of the intense competition ) and every now and then,a team captain will "numptify" a team member for disciplinary reasons such as failure to make any transfers,or dying mid season, so it's useful to have a wait list of others keen to take their place.

Otherwise,it's a case of getting in early before next season starts and making known your interest in playing when the thread for the new season starts,usually in July, and usually by RomynPG.

Or,start your own 5AS team,according to the rules laid down - avatar help was available last season from RomynPG and Marquis Mark if needed.
There seems likely to be room for a maximum of 2 additional teams next season assuming none drop out.

Krispy and RomynPG will no doubt keep an eye on this recruitment thread.

I would like to be considered for a team next year if possible.
I have a 9th place in the world in 2005/06 (thank God for the FISO archives or noone would ever believe me!) and am currently 70th this year.
Or even better, if there is space available for new teams I will assemble the most devastating team ever seen.

You could count me in for that team if you were happy to have any old riff raff in it . I have a feeling with your record though that other teams would want you.
