this game will run side by side with Krispy/Romyn's 5AS H2H with one difference, that difference will be transfer points will be taken into account on your scores


DUE TO THE FACT THAT WE NEED TO CO-ORDINATE THE 5-A-SIDE H2H COMPETITION, DEADLINE FOR ENTERING A 5-a-SIDE TEAM WILL BE MIDNIGHT ON 9th August 2009


OFFICIAL 5AS RULES

Setting up a team

1) Every club must have exactly five FISO members.
2) Every club member must have one premierleague.com team.
3) Every club must nominate a captain.
4) The captain must create a league at fantasy.premierleague.com. (Note: set "Scoring Starts" to "Gameweek 1")
5) The league must be called "FISO 5AS" + clubname. (e.g. FISO 5AS Tigers).
6) All five members must join the league. See Rule 16, below.
7) The captain must publishes the league and club details on this thread like this:

- FISO 5AS The Muvvas - Wyld(C), UmExcuseMe, Jonathan, shawpower, viddleodge

Scoring

8) The club's score is the average of the score of the five teams in the club.
9) At the end of the season, the club with the highest average score wins.

Numptification

10a) Captains can at anytime numptify (expel) any player in their club, including themselves, for bringing the game into disrepute, talking contractually with another club, being generally useless, not turning up for training, dissing the captain, not posting on FISO, dying, etc. Numptification should be announced by way of a press release on this thread.

10b) Captains can be numtified by their club only if all four other players agree. In this case the captain should surrender the league to another player, or the other four players should form a new league, recruit a new player, and elect a new captain.

Recruiting a Replacement Player

11) At any time during the season, any player may be replaced by another player with a lower or equal score. Special rules apply during the January Transfer Market window: see rule 16, below.

12) Captains must field exactly five players every gameweek. Failure to do so will result in expulsion from the association or some equally dire penalty, subject to appeal which you will probably lose . Disqualified clubs may be replaced by newly formed clubs subject to appeal.

Recruiting Players for a New Club

13) The new player must be recruited from the FISO 5AS Reserves/Transfer Market League.

Club Badge, Chant, etc.

14) Clubs are expected to have a club badge (80x80pixels, non-animated), team photo, club strip, and terrace chant, and generally promote themselves whilst taking the piss out of the opposition. Inter-team rivalry is encouraged.

Tapping up

15) Clubs are permitted to poach players from other clubs as long as rules 11 and 12 are not broken.

Transfer Window

16) During the January Transfer Window only, a player may be replaced by another player provided the Transfer Window Threshold (TWT) is not exceeded. The value of the TWT will be determined later by the rules committee.

Thanks for all your efforts on this, the H2H individuals and the regionals - the amount of work that involved was mammoth and greatly appreciated.

As for the H2H - if krispy wants to run it again I will gladly assist him on the support side - but he's the boss on that one so we'll have to see what he wants to do - however he hasn't been here for over a month so who knows.

(If either do get off the ground The Incredibles will be looking for 2 new recruits)

It's probably best to fill the gaps which have arisen in some existing teams first though, before creating any new ones.

Agreed but equally there are some teams where all members have left and unless the Warriors (for instance) name is to be reused some new ones could be created to take us to the 20 team ideal.

Sorry if I've missed anyone out but I think this is pretty much up to date as at the time of this thread. Looks good; 13 teams (at least partially) in so far and lots of fresh recruits I'll try and keep on top of this to make Krispy's job easier,

I am pleased to report, as Dudes captain, that following protacted negotiations regarding image rights (and the small technical difficulty that he is also the manager of Inter Milan), Maureenho is, as you may have deduced already, now a Duuuuuude

This makes the Dudes - SgB, Velcro and Beerfuelledman complete the line-up - clear favourites to win the 2009-2010 5AS tournament (we weren't really trying last season, you see ...)

I'm also keen to join or co-found.

Krispy, DrBunker, can you advise a couple of eager (relative) newbies?
