I tried to find a thread discussing this Saturday morning Radio 5 show.

Living in Amsterdam means I have to listen to the podcast and as someone who downloads approximately 30 podcasts a week, this is by far my favourite one. I wait with excitement for Monday morning, so I can listen to it on the way to work.

I know there are plenty of people who don't like Colin Murray and although I might not be his number 1 fan, I think he does a great job hosting this show. This was highlighted to me when, once again, we had Nick Hancock host Saturday's show. A good host of fighting talk realises they should be the supporting cast and not try and be the prominent person on the show. Hancock ruined it and thought it should be called Hancock's "full hour", rather than Fighting Talk. Murray is willing to let the contestants make their points without interruption, unless it's someone who is getting on everyone's nerves - step forward Gary O'Reilly/Darren Campbell/Sue Mott

I think the live shows have added a new dimension to it and hope this show continues for a while. And although Darren Campbell ruined the Xmas show, I still think Bob Mills (another guy I feel is annoying on TV) is the best contestant for me. Although anyone remember the Jake Humphrey from Formula 1's grandma story about him playing with his winky. I just remember being in hysterics for ages - but don't actually remember the story

Other favourites for me include Greg Brady & Ian Stone

i can't say i catch this very often, but when i do it does tend to be pretty enjoyable, depending on the guests of course.

I'm not much of a fan of Colin Murray, but i remember Johnny Vaughan hosting the show and it being much stronger on the whole. I seem to recall it making it as a very short-lived tv show to, with Vaughan hosting a few years back. Was good value, but probably in a weak time slot and not very well advertised to get a decent following. I think the boxing guy Steve Bunce was on it, not sure if he was a regular or not, or whether he still occasionally does it back on the radio show, but he was quite entertaining.

Its possible other people hosted the radio show in between those two, but i'm not sure. Sorry, i'm just rambling now...
