Always hated them. Was tempted to use my wildcard to bring in the likes of berbatov or other fringe players who always seem to score when the big boys get rested. cant wait to see the back of these gameweeks.hadnt got below 50 all season until the last gwk...now this is 2 in a row. only player to do anything for me was van persie.

rooney not playing was a killer but only other option wudda been sturridge who has got 2 2pointers.....look forward when normal service resumes. all the bad teams seem to do well this time of year. now i know why. brought in bale this week cos he was killing me...now watch van der vaart score two braces in the double gwk against bales two one pointers lol!

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one

These gameweek are an opportunity to move up the rankings considerably. All the hard work and fixture planning that we do (compared to the non commital manager) should pay off.

I'd also say that your Wildcard strategy is risky. You should get these fringe players in pre Wildcard and use the Wildcard to ditch them after the FA cup when service returns to normal.

It's not too late to take a punt on Torres, berbs, Valencia, Carroll, Bellamy, Defoe, Adam Johnson, Dzeko, Osman, Donavan, Saha for Gw20-22. You can then get rid of them and get the guaranteed starters when you play your Wildcard.

These games in quick succession are a pain in the ass. Players dropped left right and centre, and nobody can say they planned or knew about all of them. The most common sense move for fantasy managers in the past week could have been to bring in Rooney and captain him against Blackburn, and look what happened there. In theory a really good way to get points at a fast rate, but in reality for many it is a very frustrating time.

might try bringing in the fringe players but....with ade rvp and rooney up front it was hard to get rid of any of those. if rooney had played the two home games hed have scored well. just dont like the christmas/new year gwks..im looking at the table in my leagues and none of the boys up the top are doing well yet the people who havent made many transfers and have weaker teams are having great weeks...anyways only one gwk left thankfully
