Great news. Off to Domino's now for some of my 5 a day.
Shouldn't it be a fruit though?

Pineapple and tomato - 2 fruits. Add a few peppers and that's your 5 a day sorted (*). Wahey.

*no-one really eats 5 a day. It's been proven that fruit and veg surveys are just like sex surveys - everyone exaggerates.

The only reason were are recommended 5 a day is that is the highest figure that public health thought we could pursuade our fat population to actually manage

In other countries the recommended amount is 10 portions of fruit and veg per day

My first thought was the versatile potato but I settled on the aubergine.

Melanzane parmigiana - fantastic.

Pa has a good point regarding the onion - we'd certainly be lost without it.

We would indeed be lost without spuds and onions but I just love sprouts, cauliflower and peppers. :)

Earle, welcome aboard but you have the zip code for your service station wrong in your location, google maps says it should be 97215

PS Enjoy your tomatoes and remember to pronounce them toe-mar-toes not toe-may-dows
