Friday 1st October - Thursday 7th October (Sky Movies Premiere)

Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs

I have to say this flick left me feeling pleasantly surprised, it's a decent (& visually quite imaginative) animated adventure that's well worth your time IMO even if (like myself) you're not a fan of this particular movie genre.

The Time Traveler's Wife

I went into this with pretty low expectations and I'm afraid to say that this movie well & truly lived down to them  . I really can't understand how a movie as simplistic & emotionally 'by the numbers' as this one is currently averaging a rating of 7.1 on IMDb  , perhaps the all too brief appearance made by Rachel McAdams's bottom (understandably  ) distracted viewers and prevented them from realising how shockingly average this chick flick actually is  .

Couples Retreat

This is a decent enough romantic comedy (albeit one that is quite forgettable) that's worth consideration if you're just looking for something that can be viewed & enjoyed with your brain firmly in neutral.

Heard about this before, will be sky+ing it myself... Cheers

I would tell you that it's better than 'The Blair Witch Project' but I don't think you'd believe me  ...

Watched this yesterday. Mind-boggling. Very intriguing film but had me absolutely baffled when the credits started to roll. Then I had a think about it and read up on a few theories. Am eager to rewatch. Definitely not a film to see only once...

Never better than the Blair Witch Project though but clearly 1000 times better than the sequel
