Flintstones, Bewiched, Hogans Heroes, Jetsons, Addams Family, The Munsters as I got older. The Saint, Bonanza, Wagon Train when I was allowed to stay up and watch them. Yes I am that old :) .

This clip from 1977 intro, could have sworn the number was 01-811-8055, that must have changed that sometime. Can you believe its nearly 30 years old, I so wanted to swap at one the locations with Cheggers, but don't think they ever came close to my town.

Can anyone else remember Marine Boy. It was a cartoon from the late 60's/early 70's. Marine Boy could breathe underwater by chewing special bubble gum, I still want some..... :D

Tra la la, la la la la
Tra la la, la la la la

One banana, two banana, three banana, four
Four bananas make a bunch and so do many more.
Over hill and highway the banana buggies go
Comin' on to bring you the Banana Splits show

Makin' up a mess of fun
Makin' up a mess of fun
Lots of fun for everyone

Tra la la, la la la la
Tra la la, la la la la

Four banana, three banana, two banana, one
All bananas playing in the bright warm sun,
Flippin' like a pancake, poppin' like a cork,
Fleagle, Bingo, Drooper and Snork

Tra la la, la la la la
Tra la la, la la la la

I used to love it but no one I talked to ever remembered it so I bought a copy on VHS for £1 from ebay a couple of years back, what was I thinking it was awful.

Nooooooo - surely it's the best cartoon ever?

Was it called Battle of the Planets?
And was it G-Force they shouted?

I had a similar experience with Condorman.... Anyone remember that? None of my friends do.
I had memories of it being an absolutely brilliant film. Spent ages trying to track it down - nigh on impossible.
Eventually someone I used to work with found it and downloaded it for me.

Watched it, and it was truly woeful.

Some things are best left as legends in the memory bank.

It was called Battle of The Planets and they did shout G-force. There were 5 members in the team, Mark, Jason, Tiny, Beebop & Princess I think. I only watched for about 5 minutes it looked that bad, I suppose it must be about 25 years old now though.

Dick and Muttley drove the Mean Machine. :D
Peter Perfect drove the Terrific Turbo :D
It was Red Max :D , not the Red Baron, who drove the Crimson Haybailer, and the creepy coupe was driven by the Gruesome Twosome. :D

The ant hill mob included Clyde :D , Dum Dum :D and Softy  . Can't remember the rest.

I'd guess 24  races in total, with Penelope :D and Peter :D being the leading drivers in terms of wins. (Obviously the Mean Machine would be last in terms of race wins  )

Good effort 'unc' :D although Perfect's car was the Turbo Terrific.

UPDATE

Peter Perfect - Turbo Terrific
Penelope Pitstop - Compact Pussycat
Professor Pat Pending - The Convert-a-car (Lip)
Rufus Ruffcut - Buzz Wagon
Ant Hill Mob -
- Army Surplus Special
- Arkansas Chuggabug
The Slag Brothers - Boulder Mobile
Dick Dastardly - Mean Machine
Gruesome Twosome - Creepy Coupe
Red Max - Crimson Haybailer

1. can anyone name the 7 members of the Ant Hill Mob - Clyde, Dum-Dum
2. How many episodes were made
3. Which year was the first episode screened
4. Which driver won most races - 4 Drivers with 4 wins each (Peter Perfect, Penelope Pitstop)
5. What Car number did each team carry
6. I found a site that lists the first three in each episode working on a points system of 5 pts for a win, 3 points for 2nd and a point for 3rd. Who do you think was the top team in Wacky Races

Final question (slightly off topic) can anyone name the 4 members of the Banana Splits - Bingo, Fleagle, Snork(y) & Drooper

Ant Hill Mob - The Bullet Proof Bomb - more commonly known as 'Chug-a-Boom'
Sargeant Blast & Private Meekly - Army Surplus Special
Lazy Luke & Blubber Bear - Arkansas Chuggabug

Rufus Roughcut's companion was 'Sawtooth'

1. can anyone name the 7 members of the Ant Hill Mob - Clyde, Dum-Dum, Yak Yak, Ring-a-ding, Pockets, Snoozy & Zippy
2. How many episodes were made - 34
3. Which year was the first episode screened - 1968
4. Which driver won most races - 4 Drivers with 4 wins each (Peter Perfect, Penelope Pitstop, Ant Hill Mob & Lazy Luke & Blubber Bear)
5. What Car number did each team carry

4 - Red Max
5 - Penelope Pitstop
6 - Sargeant Blast
7 - Ant Hill Mob
8 - Lazy Luke

10 - Rufus Roughcut
00 - Dick Dastardley

6. I found a site that lists the first three in each episode working on a points system of 5 pts for a win, 3 points for 2nd and a point for 3rd. Who do you think was the top team in Wacky Races

The Slag Brothers 42 points

Indeed. We must be of an age, ianovich. I remember 'Marine Boy', too - even the theme tune after almost 40 years!
O-oh, Chungo!

This site might awaken a few memories?

forgot about that one... brilliant.

You always thought they were going to get home didnt you (not realsing that if they did, there'd be no more show)... a bit like quatum leap in that respect! Yet you still wanted them to make it back.

I believe they're making a film of Quantum Leap, not sure if Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell will be making an appearance though!
