We're now live - admittedly, it was a bit rushed, but more Clubhouse articles will be added in due course.

Mr Green: Any chance of adding one of those natty printable player lists to the site like you have for the footy? :)

PS. Not sure if you've made a typo, but Michael Campbell appears to be 0.6m overpriced.

I'll have a word with the Development Team once again regarding the possibility of a printable player list, but if you send me an email at mr.green@fantasyleague.com then I'll send you an Excel version by email.

I think giving $0.1m back to those with Michael Campbell in their team is going just a step too far! To be fair, he did actually make the cut in Sicily at the weekend...

However, I'll still honour any requests for an Excel version by email.

Any chance you can send a note through to anyone on this planet to tell them there was no golf in Sicily this week and they must have been imagining a bearded victory!  In every one of my teams and now he will be in EVERY team!!!

The European enabler is firmly established

This is hard.

I have had about 3 or 4 goes at building a team.

I need more money

Just to clarify as I have not done this one before

When it says :-
Your squad of 12 golfers must consist of between three and five players (inclusive) from America, Europe and the Rest of the World.

This means you must have a minimum of 3 golfers from each of USA, EUR and ROW and a maximum of 5 from any region without going over the $20 million

ALSO

Is the "First Reserve" allocated from one of the inactive 6 from your main 12

Thanks

Is that correct?

Yes click on the first reserve button and select one of your inactive players. It's is always hard to get a good team for The Masters my personal way is to look for one cheaper player with a good Masters record then try to get 5 decent ones around that, my 6 inactive players are usually all 0.5 as I am happy to burn 3 transfers straight away in order to get a good start.

So, the 30 transfers effectively give you the option to change during the season but your initial 12 need to stay reasonably static for the duration of the season?

IMO you hope out of your original picks to get a core of a side that you will keep most of the season maybe occassionally transfering a player out that is not playing for a while and bringing him back at a later date (Woods is a good example of this in the past). The cheap players can be your biggest bonus I had Stephen Gallacher from the start last year at 0.5 he came in with 167 points but any fantasy golf player will spot if someone is becoming a bargain pretty early on in the season and get them in.

Its a brill comp - do 2 teams!!! One based around Masters picks / other on general picks

After the Masters and you have a Masters team languishing in 1000th and a general team near 200 then you can refocus ;0)

Rreality is - Augusta does favour certain players and they will almost certainly do well. Woods and Mickleson are going to be odds on for top 20 for example. Getting lucky with the spares is the key - previous examples being Todd Hamilton at 0.5 being the only one some people could pick and him finishing top 10.

Truth is - Doesnt really effect your season. All the top guns will fire at some stage - just catching them in their bursts is key

Last year it was catching Mcdowell / Molinari / Donald etc on their runs - the transfer allowance is now very flexible - I had only 1 week last year where I couldnt put out a team of 6!

Pay And Play Enjoy Regret - See - I'm great on PAPER ;0)

Ahh, I remember the good old days when there were 0.4m players

And on the subject of getting lucky, I seem to remember a certain Steve Flesch giving me a helping hand one year :)

Alas not qualified this year

Memory (possibly fading) suggests teams are reorged before the comp starts so that multi-entrants don't have too many reps in any prize league.

Mr G may confirm.

I do recall something similar, Mr G would move teams if asked. Maybe it's done automatically now.

As per the 'Help' section (always a good place to look for such things):

http://golf.fantasyleague.com/Article.aspx?key=Help1

"I want to enter two or more teams. How can I avoid them being placed in the same Prize League?

Teams are inserted into Prize Leagues in chronological order of registering. Therefore, leaving several hours between registering your teams will increase the chances of your teams being placed in separate Prize Leagues. If, however, your teams do end up in the same Prize League, then email mr.green@fantasyleague.com with details of the teams that you wish to separate."

No need to change PB, you'll still get a silver medal for 2nd place :D

Is there a prize mini-league out there that's on the lookout for an extra entrant?

Am breaking habit of a decade to run a second golf team this season (courtesy of FL competition prize that includes two complimentary entries). First team has been used to set up prize league as usual. Frankly, not sure how to run two golf teams; solo effort seems challenging enough.

If there's nothing doing guess second side can be squeezed into the gargantuan FISO group.

Who usually sets up the FISO league?

I'll put one of my teams in any side league you organise Sam. :)

Could the deadline for setting up a USPGA team this week be pushed back from the published noon deadline in both the Fantasy League and Today's Golfer games please, Mr Green?

First tee-off is scheduled for 12:30 BST this Thurs 11th.

Think old-timers like pa need all the cogitation time they can get...

Sorted. Admittedly, the tee-times for the US PGA Championship were published several days ago, but it usually isn't until Wednesday mornings that I check them (as they're not published for regular tour events until Tuesday afternoon/evening).

P.S. Please can FISOers not use the FISO Forum/PM system for direct communication with myself in relation to comments/queries/requests for Fantasy League-run games. There is an online support facility in all the games that we run which sends an email that goes straight into my inbox (or the member of staff relevant for that game) and will ensure a more prompt and personal reply. Thank you.

Please be advised that the Alfred Dunhill Championship (17-20 Nov) and the South African Open (24-27 Nov) have been added to the European Tour calendar - a bit more notice than with the JBWere Masters a couple of years back, eh?!

The former coincides with the Presidents Cup, so the field isn't likely to be great.

Note that Jamie Donaldson is not in the official field for this Thursday's KLM Open in Holland. He isn't in the betting displays either.

However, the OFL Golf and Today's Golfer games both list the Welshman as a starter.
