Oh Well the fairytale has ended. It was a good run though. The best one I've ever had. Out 76 - 69.

Thankyou David Dunn for nothing. :x :x :x

Through against a top 5k opponent, 84-60.

Hoping that is my last encounter with a top player for a while, would love to get through all the way to GW33 and get myself on the summary screen. Has any FISOer ever done that?

My best week for a while and I'm out 79-81.
Damn you Adebayor and Aguero.

I'm in a real nailbiter, after subs will be all square at 57 each.

All comes down to bonus points, I have Capt Bale and goalscorer Dempsey, his bonus candidates are Bale, Sessegnon, Krul, R Taylor. (He captained Dzeko). Too close to call.

I won 70-64, nice bonus haul of 13 vs 7 for him.

Next up, Newcastle fan, ranked 700k, has Liverpool block defence, I don't see them keeping a CS vs Tottenham.

My opponent, although actively managed, is outside the top 1 million. Still has his January WC in hand and needs to use it quick as he has a whopping 5.3m in the bank and only 98.9 on the pitch. Also has a whole load of doubts in Welbeck, De Laet, G Cahill and Ba. Players in common are Bale, Simpson and Silva.

Bolton fan up next, very active, 70k rank, still to play WC. I'm shitting it, looks like he knows what he is doing.

If he actually read the rules he'd be even better off...points hits in 3 out of the 4 January weeks including this week and he never touched the January WC  He took an 8pt hit to bring in Taiwo, D Cisse and Dempsey who scored a grand total of 1pt between them

I think I may just be through this week. He failed to log in and use his WC, so there's just a small matter of a 48pt gap plus boni for him to make up. His differentials are G Cahill, BAE, Bale, Valencia and Welbeck vs my Krul and R Taylor.

Bar a batshit insane bonus allocation, I'm through.

Very similar teams, but the main differential was him having QPR's Cisse while I had Aguero. Fairly lucky really, and I think from this point on it's not going to be easy.

I'm 9 points in front pre bonus and he has Adebayor and Modric playing tomorrow (we both have Bale as well). Gonna be a tight one, although boni for Aguero and Sessegnon will help me out.

Slight off topic, but has anyone figured out the prize for winning the fantasy cup? Cant find the info anywhere. I am likely to be through, as I currently lead him 65-31 with mcclean to come in as first sub with only Mon match to come. He has 6 players from pool-spurs though........lol

I'm definitely through again, currently leading 61 - 29, I still have Bale, he has Jose Enrique.

Out 89-77 annoying to be out with a decent score, fun while it lasted.

So who else is still in? Into the 8th round now, the last 16,384, only another 12 rounds to go!

In my globetrotting cup run I'm now up against another United fan, this time from Saudi Arabia.

We have 7 players in common, so should be very tight. He doesn't have Dempsey though, who is currently my captain, so I imagine that's pretty much going to decide it.

I'm still alive and kicking, next up is a Welsh guy with decent set-up, 91pts in the w/e, has that midfield. Will be tough I reckon.

I'm already 4 pts up because my opponent, despite apparently being a ManU fan, has taken a 4pt hit to get rid of J Evans (for Richards), and benched Valencia as well. Curious one that.

Ba, Bale, Dempsey and Sess will cancel out, so it's

Me---------------Him

Hennessey----Vorm
Caulker--------Williams
Lescott--------Richards
McAuley--------Bardsley
Silva-----------Sigurdsson (the other part of the 4-pt hit, for Dyer)
RVP------------Aguero (captain differential)

I think he doing his level best to let me through - 4pt hit, Dyer 5 for Siggy 2, Valencia 5 and BAE 12 on bench

I'm 3 behind with 2 extra players and we both have a ManC defender.

I could be in trouble here, I'm 8 points behind, only different remaining players are Clichy for him, and McAuley and Fletcher for me, need one of mine to have a big game.

39-25 to him, he has Silva and Aguero remaining but, crucially, I gave the armband to Aggers. Yeah, I'm clutching at straws.

Argh! So annoyed with myself!

I was concentrating so much on my captain choice that I totally forgot to look at my defence and left Enrique in and benched BAE. No way I would have played Enrique in that fixture. Stupid me.

That's cost me the lead, and bar a big performance from Aguero I'm out.
