One of two fit Man U defenders and played 45 today. 4.5 with 3 reasonably easy games coming up. As I'll now need to replace Evans and I can easily ship him out with the window wild card, is he worth a punt?

Think you'd be wasting your time with that one. I'd have thought Smalling and Jones will be back for the next game.

Given that Evan is reportedly only out for two weeks, I think I'll leave it. Besides, United will surely be leaky without a recognised centre back.

You'd have to be completely desperate.

However the January Wildcard does give you an easy exit route. Blackburn at home next week? Could be a one week wonder.
