Email promo/reminder:

'As you have previously registered an interest in the European Tour Fantasy Game we feel confident that this season you will love to play our brand new interactive game www.europeantourfantasy.com

The Official European Tour Fantasy game now returns in 2007 bigger and better than ever. Last November Alasdair Welch of Bristol walked away from the Grand Final with £10,000 cash by predicting that the unknown Korean Yang Yong-eun would beat the great Tiger Woods to win the HSBC Champions Tournament in Shanghai.

This year try we have hundreds of pounds worth of golf prizes on offer for every tournament including a golf break each week courtesy of Golfbreaks.com

We are starting the season with two FREE to PLAY tournaments. This week can have given you 5 FREE CREDITS for you to predict the winner of the WGC CA Championship at the Blue Monster Course, Doral, Florida where the worlds top players compete from 19th - 22nd March. Some of The European Tour’s leading players Padraig Harrington, Paul Casey and David Howell will compete against the cream of world golf including “you know who”. Henrik Stenson who won the WGC Accenture Matchplay event last month reinforced the fact that European Golf is going from strength to strength - all we need now is a European Major winner.

Players from over 19 countries will compete for the $1.35 million winners cheque the total purse is $8 million. So with your 5 Free credits see if you can predict the winner and the winning score. The course is a par 72 so who knows how many under par these top players will get to by close of play on Sunday? To give you an indication Tiger Woods won the 2006 Ford Championship at Doral in 20 under par. This was Woods second win and the previous year he shot 24 under - so not so much of a ‘Blue Monster’ for the Tiger.

This year who knows ? - get your prediction right and gather the most points you and three friends will be off to the The Worsley Park, Marriott for a night’s dinner, B&B plus 2 rounds of golf courtesy of our Prize Sponsor Golfbreaks.com So good luck, we are sure you will enjoy playing the game.

IT’S SO EASY TO PLAY - just select who you think will in the tournament together with the winning score and click submit - that’s it.

EVERY WEEK during our 2007 season there are over £1,000 worth of golf prizes, so whenever you play the Official European Tour Fantasy Game you have a chance to win some fantastic prizes just by predicting the winner and the winning score.

This year our SILVER & GOLD credits system gives you even more chances to compete in the Season Champions Final and the opportunity to win our fantastic grand prize. Please visit www.europeantourfantasy.com for more details

You can also play the game alongside your Local PGA Pro in our Pro-Am League. See how good your Professional is at predicting European Tour winners.

Gain SILVER credits to qualify for the Grand Final by referring your golfing friends and then play against them in our Mini Leagues - great fun'.

Update Email:

'No surprise that Tiger Woods continues his dominance of the WGC tournaments with a final score of 10 under par and a two shot victory over Brett Wetterich at the weekend. As the Masters approaches Tiger makes his intentions clear with his relentless pursuit of Jack Nicklaus’ record of 18 Majors.

Meanwhile www.europeantourfantasy.com send congratulations to Ramon Quintana of Barcelona for being the highest points scorer in our first event of 2007 by correctly predicting Tiger and scoring 14,500 points.

This week we have another FREE to PLAY tournament with 5 FREE CREDITS for you to predict the winner of this weeks Open de Portugal.

The prize is a golf break for 4 people and includes a 1 night stay with dinner, B&B and 2 rounds of golf at the De Vere Oulton Hall, courtesy of our Prize Sponsor www.Golfbreaks.com

Paul Broadhurst has won the last two Portuguese Opens in 2006 at Penina and in 2005 at this weeks venue Oitavos Golfe, Quinta da Marinha so can he make it a hat-trick of wins? Broadhurst beat Paul Laurie two years ago by one shot with a winning score of 13 under par at this picturesque coastal resort with some very tough closing holes.

Why not set up a Mini League with your golfing friends. IT’S SO EASY TO PLAY just select who you think will in the tournament together with the winning score and click submit - that’s it -

Good Luck! '

Anyone try this last week?

I'm in 97th place after the WCG.

Only 276 entered, giving you a 275/1 chance of winning 1 night's dinner, B&B and 2 rounds of golf for 4 people to Marriott Worsley Park 4* Hotel and Country Club.

A Mr R Quintana from Barcelona won it (Alan - you bemoaning your trip to Scotland last year pales into insignificance  ).

There's another free week this week, so come on, let's have a FISO name in the top ten at least.

Didn't see it last week, but have thrown 5 goes at it this week.

Even went to the driving range last night (second time in eight years :D ) just in case.

Is this seriously getting 73 entries per week for 7 weekly prizes? Or am I reading it wrong?

Each entrant could have had up to 20 entries each, so somewhere between 73 and 1,460.

I think only 175 people made a prediction in the final comp. (176th was tied on 0 points).
