So glad I at least managed some decent transfers at the last window........unfortunately not to any of my own teams!!

I don't think it's a surprise nobody actually bought Dempsey in. Sure he was playing reasonably well the couple of weeks prior to the window but I just didn't fancy the Fulham fixtures, whereas I did fancy Chelsea's and Arsenal's for instance.
You should always expect the unexpected I guess!

Early days yet....lots to happen in the remaining 4 months! :)

Kid Kongo brings in the soon to be injured pair of Sturridge & Vermaelen, misses golden boy Dempsey and still tops the pile :D

Come on Adebayor....due a goal tonight 8-)

City could do with Adebayor right now. Leading the line superbly apparently tonight at The Lane, whilst Balotelli turns in another odd subdued half hour before injury, and Dzeko is woeful at holding it up.

Season long loan though. City I understand paying a fair chunk still of his wages. Crazy situation.

Don't know where you heard that edmo...from what I read he had a poor match and missed a few chances.

adebayor is such a frustrating player to watch..gets in great positions then finishes like abbot and costello
defoe is far more clinical but harry seems to have gone off him these days

"And the loan hitman made it an unwelcome hat-trick as his touch let him down again on 25 minutes" The Sun

Rating: 7

"Redknapp throws on Pavlyuchenko now at the expense of Adebayor, and he departs to a rousing ovation."

"Adebayor is linking the play superbly for the hosts, and he continues to drop off the frontline to provide an outlet."

Both from Yahoo matchcast 8-)

Rating: 7.7

Really could do with a goal from him, sounds like he did waste several good chances tonight.

you need a goal or so now before he misses man city game then more than likely sits out the watford game as harry carries on with his europa experiments in the fa cup

Most annoyeed Ekotto was not MOTM.

Probably even more annoyed Hart was in the lIVERPOOL GAME.

I watched the spurs game today, and adebayor was awful again. However, I won't be suprised if the sun gives him a 7 rating again though

It's good to see you up there still edmo, even with adebayor  . I guess you've been lucky in that no striker has stepped up this window a la van Persie in the last window.

Not sure I want to see the final scores on this. Can we just skip to Bear Baiting :?

Those with Bale would have had Edmo 003 in prime position.

Adebayor as many pointed out was a $hit choice  I kept the faith thinking even at half time last night that he'd do something, but replaced on 78 mins by Cameron Lancaster

Still, there is always Vermaelen tonight to dig me out the mire... :|

Chrismar had given me some transfers at the last window to see how he'd have faired (was 10th going into the window).

He'd currently be on 1578 (joint 8th).
