once upon a time he was a must have

denying goals of the season aside what do you make to him? dropped to 8million, if starting more more likely to finish than aguero, low ownership in a superb side

yes there will be question marks with balotelli lurking but thats probably the risk you take for huge goal potential with lots of players vying for positions. he's under the radar again but 90mins in his last 3. no denying aguero has the skills and is the likelier starting player but he never finishes a match and so youre hoping for goals before 70 odd mins

im seriously considering dzeko rooney rvp if i see dzeko in the starting like up gw23 wildcard

if it falls apart a simple downgrade to demba ba

Dzeko could be a good differential to Aguero, as I expect him to start ahead of balotelli. Thinking of getting him in myself as well

Why did i have to read this. Thinking of dumping Sturridge over Dzeko now. I have the feeling i will **** up my season with my wildcard lol. Had a decent team that was doing quite well having in mind I started in gw 3. Now I think I'm about to ruin it all with my WC experiments that i have in mind.

or hopefully i can actually rush it to the top 100k

It could be worse, for a differential, I'm considering Torres

Torres has already been in my team this season... He didn't bring the goods. Dzeko, keeping on top would be a great buy instead IF there's more certainty around him starting the next set of games.

Yeah but there is never any certainty! Thats the problem, I would have Dzeko as my first choice striker if he was guaranteed at least 70 minutes every game, but hes not worth the rotation risk IMO. Thank god I had him early before it became to much of an issue but moving forward I don't see it changing.

I had Dzeko at the start and he was great then he disappeared. I kept him when most had upgraded to Aguero but he only did the business one more time. The main plus is his price compared to his colleagues but I don't think he'll keep playing this many minutes if history repeats itself.

balotelli charged by FA

could be due a lengthy ban that would give dzeko few rivals up front in way of a replacement

Good. Hopefully Dzeko will have free reign to prevent Aguero scoring now :p

I see better options to be honest. Leaving aside Ba who is a shoe in when back, players like Fletcher and Zamora are quite a bit cheaper with better recent records. If you need to have a big team, then Welbeck and Sturridge are cheaper - evan Bellamy.

Might get him in for Fletcher.

Could return big points.

I imagine Balotelli will get at least 3 games.

1 of which is the cup so he will miss 2 league.

Why would this just be a 3 game ban violent conduct charge and not a assualt charge?

Pepe got a 10 game ban for kicking someone when they were on the floor so whats the difference?

I'm not saying it was unintentional, but in a criminal court, I think it would be quite hard to prove beyond all reasonable doubt that it was an intentional stamp.

A blatant kick of an opponent is a bit more obvious.

Suarez has 1 more game out right? won't Bellamy take up a spot on the bench again as soon as he returns?

Bellamy is the only Liverpool player atm with some fire in him, it would be madness and a folly to bench him... I'd bench Carroll... useless lump.

As much as I agree...

Alex song only got 3 games earlier in the season when he stamped on Joey Barton. As long as the FA are consistent it's hard to complain.

Looks like it's 4 games as he got a red earlier in the season. May appeal which will delay so he plays for the league cup semi and misses more PL matches.

I agree completely and as far as I am concerned Bellamy should've been playing 90 minutes all season long but does King Kenny feel the same way?

Clearly not as he's been benched, what, 5 of the last 8 league games. Not worth the risk for me, especially with suarez returning.

Dzeko on the other hand....tempted.

But he's crap?

Not only does he not score goals anymore but he gets in the way of Aguero time after time, clumsy oaf.

Could see Manchini packing the midfield and going with a lone striker (Kun) in a lot of matches, especially away if Balo does get banned.

he might be crap, but who else is going to play up front for Ciy in the next few weeks? Ballotelli looks like being banned for 4, and i haven't heard them linked to any strikers this window...

Aguero doesn't seem to do well up on his own, or is that just my imagination? Dzeko might steal shots off him, but Aguero is the kind of creative player that needs someone else up there with him i reckon. Hardly a lone man like Drogba is he...

There's always Carlos i spose lol

Is that the same Aguero who has completed 90 mins in his last 2 prem games, and 4 of the last 7? Maybe never say never again...

There's a reason Dzeko got sold for €25,000 at one point in his career. Big shiney move to City, Lipstick on a Pig.

Aguero 1480mins 14goals 5assists
Dzeko 1026mins 11goals 5assists

whilst aguero may be more skillful, exciting and technically better, FPL is about goals and assists and seeing as Aguero has played the around 5 games more in terms of minutes there's only 3 goals between them... at 3.1million cheaper Dzeko could prove a nice punt if baloteli gets a ban, considering the fixtures. It seems Aguero's output suffers when he plays also

I spotted it once but let's not let that get in the way of the actual facts.
