Thought i'd put my ff and FISO reputation on the line in an interesting little side comp. I'm looking for 4 more Dumbledores/knights and 5 relative Newbies to all pile into a mini league where i will run an average score over the season.

Each week i'll update the average score for each team in a battle of the Old Vs the New

So, veterans, put your rep on the line with me and we'll scrap it out with the FISO new fish!!

Hopefully this will help a few FISO Newbies to get involved in some banter as well, and see the lighter side of FISO.

i've been taking a look at the fpl game given the current tff debacle.

registered a fpl team for the first time a few weeks ago to have a tinker in order to get to grips with the format.

i'll give this a go and could kill two birds with one stone, i.e. a fiso knight and a fpl newbie.

also joined a fpl league at work and am well clear at the top after gw1... easy this fpl business eh?

Need a group decision here Dumblesdores. Does Richt really count as a newbie. Post count suggests otherwise i feel, and joined in 2007. Don't think a grumpy old man can qualify really, but will open it for discussion.

Well the Dumbledores have two Knights in their ranks. Additionally one of them hasn't played FPL before so is sort of an old-aged newbie.

I guess the decision is yours - what was your aim for this side comp? I thought you wanted it to be between one type of FISOers, i.e. (Dumbledores), vs another, i.e. (newbies of varying descriptions), but as I say there are two non-Dumbles in the first group. I would have thought that the length of time someone has been posting determines their "age" which might suit your aims better. Or are you looking for FPL 3 termers vs FPL firs-timers?!?

By newbie, i mean newbie to the forum, with a lowish post count. Hopefully they will get involved in some banter and get to know one or two of the 'older' posters, and realise that us Dumbledores are the fountains of ff knowlegde and impossible to beat (*setting us up for a fall quite nicely there* )

I shall PM my chosen list later this evening and invite 6 of each into a mini league. Keep posting if your interested and i'll fish through suitable candidates later. Will increase the numbers slightly if it's worthwhile.
