If it is the only way into the main leagues, how come I'm in the Conference (is that a main league?) without going through the Elite first. And if it works like that surely 'elite' must be tongue in cheek as it is the opposite.

The Conference is one of the main leagues. The DLA 'main' leagues are the Premiership, Championship, League Division 1, League Division 2 and the Conference.

I have been running the DLA (formerly just the Drunken Premiership) for many years now and with the major inclusion of FISOites I've had to limit the leagues to the five due to the work involved. As there will inevitably be some dropouts next season I have had to find a fair way of bringin in new teams to replace the lost ones. The Drunken Elite is the best option IMO.

I may look to change the name of the Drunken Elite next season as I agree it is rather confusing in the current context. The Elite was formed to house 'extra' teams of the DLAers as each manager is limited to two in the main leagues and has historically been the best performing of all the leagues - remember our tussle last season

The main leagues are structured with restricted numbers and a p[ersonal restriction of 2 teams each and then the 'elite' is separate and just a free for all.

Hi all.

This morning, I've entered 3 cheap teams into the Elite league.

Easy to see, as they are called Cheap Team 1, 2 and 3 (Mr J Parker).

TBH, I just wanted to enter a SL with them, and with the 3 for £7.50 offer on and most of my other teams hit by injuries and suspensions ( ), I felt it was better to do it now than next week.
